Fighting game tournaments are offline. And for the uninformed, dedicated servers would actually not improve a 1v1 situation. Imagine sending all your data first to a server and then that server relaying your data to your opponent as opposed to just sending it directly to your opponent?

There's a reason why ps3 beats xbox360 in sales in all fighting games and will continue next gen... same reason tournaments don't fukk with xbox either for fighting games
