And while I'm reading you saying how you continued playing great games offline, the fact of the matter is the majority of PS3 gamers where not happy with not being able to connect "online" and plenty of them actually jumped ship and bought xbox360's. As the days turned into weeks, on a daily basis more and more ps3 fanboys would gripe about not having online, wishing they could once again be reunited and how it would feel so gooood. Posters like @Fatboi1 craves online so much that he has developed ways to stay online during sony's maintenance downtime by keeping his playstation on before the maintenance happens. If you don't log off, you can continue to game ONLINE. OH my gawd, oh lawdy, I wish there was a camera on fatboi's grill as he reads this. I know @Rekkapryde, @GoldenGlove, @King Sun, @Mowgli @Loose And all the others will recognize that move he damn near invented And once PSN was back up everyone was like but now this fake outrage would contradict all of that. Which is it fanboys? We already know, thats why we got the cloud powered Xbox One coming out this year. Thanks to YOU PSN GAMERS!!!

I would play with my Wii or PS3 for two weeks while Microsoft fixed it for free, then I'd go back to what most gamers would call "real gaming" thanks to XBL's Tru Skill Ranking system

I personally couldnt care less because my ps3 couldnt get online anyway because something was wrong with it. I very rarely play games online anyway but im in the minority there.

i rarely if ever play online,doesnt interest me. id much rather play great single player games then play repetitive multiplayer. unless im with friends in the same room.
