Just based on math it’s 100% certainty that someone in that crowd is positive with corona, and acting irresponsibly simply by being in that crowd. Where did I say they shouldn’t be there? I don’t give a flying fukk if someone sits on those steps for days in mourning, or sits at a football game, or sits at a bar. I don’t give a shyt. It’s their choice. And it should be. But one person contracting the virus at a football game was national news. Won’t be any mention of any contact tracing of anyone at that memorial though. Folks can’t hold family funerals some states still but see hundreds of folks gathering to mourn some 90 year old judge that passed and nothing is said about the possible risks? I can’t go shoot hoops by myself because the rims were removed. It’s “unsafe” yet I can go down the street and stand at a table with 6 people and shoot craps? My buddies bar he owns can’t be open because it’s “not safe” yet the restaurant next to it can pack in 6-8 to a table and it’s no issue? Kids can’t play on playground equipment because it’s a risk, but people have to go teach at schools like bishop Gorman and it’s deemed safe? Once you’re Sitting down in a restaurant its fine to be sans mask, but can’t walk to your table without a mask? There’s no logic or reason in a lot of the decisions that have been made, and people see thru it because it’s not difficult to see the hypocrisy.
I agree with how you feel breh. But, I think the reason you see this inconsistency is because there is no coordination and a lot of back and forth bickering, mainly fueled by political point scoring, that this shyt is highly dysfunctional now.

It may seem like I'm making a political statement but I'm really not. If you have ineffective management and you can view governors, congress, and the president as being like management, you will have disorganization and lack of focus among people who are looking to you for guidance. Most people are followers, so the people they look to follow are going to be steering their behavior.

Again not making a political statement just stating the facts how contradictory directions coming from multiple leaders can lead to just a haphazard way of handling the virus. But it may sound political because the best example of this is the president. You can't have your CDC director as early as this week for example say a vaccine won't be ready until 2021 and the best defense is wearing a mask and then to have his boss, the president, come out right after and say he is wrong and contradict only a few hours later. You can't get a focused solution and focused problem-solving in this environment. Until that stops, you will see the lack of consistency you mentioned.

But at the same time, I admit you need to be consistent on what you condemn and don't condemn. Someone posted a tweet after john lewis died from an everyday joe commenting he couldn't go to his grandparent funeral and he gets it because she wasn't famous and posted a picture of John Lewis funeral. I agreed with the sentiment but refrained from commenting since his death was still fresh. I still think the core issue though is politics muddying the waters which in turn leads to the dysfunction and lack of focus.

Peoples mentality nowadays is "oh as long as you got a mask on you're blessed"

I don't know if it's a supress immune system or what

But, over the last two weeks I'm randomly getting a fever and headaches.

I'm in a Red state, but, there's a mask mandate

But, ppl still PACK Target and Walmart during the day

And my ass keeps going out

Nope.

I work from home and barely go out and ALWAYS wear a mask and socially distance.

It's always about 24 hours.

I'm not getting tested til I get symptoms.

We still can get colds and fevers without Covid

But, over the last two weeks I'm randomly getting a fever and headaches.

My allergies have been killing me this fall
And that got me a lil paranoid. Running nose and sneezing got people looking at me funny. Is there an official fact checklist about covid now instead of various sources spitting out there own misinformation?

Coronavirus can spread through the air, updated CDC guidance acknowledges - CNN
Sun September 20, 2020

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated guidance on its website to say coronavirus can commonly spread "through respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols," which are produced even when a person breathes.

For months, scientists have noted the likelihood of coronavirus transmission through viral particles in the air, and pushed health agencies to acknowledge it.

In April, a prestigious scientific panel told the White House in a letter that research showed coronavirus can be spread not just by sneezes or coughs, but also just by talking, or possibly even just breathing

And in July, 239 scientists published a letterthat urged the World Health Organization and other public health organizations to be more forthcoming about the likelihood that people could catch the virus from droplets that were floating in the air.

On Sunday, one of the lead authors of the letter, Donald Milton, a professor of environmental health at the University of Maryland who studies how viruses are transmitted, said the CDC's new language was a "major improvement."

"I'm very encouraged to see that the CDC is paying attention and moving with the science. The evidence is accumulating," Milton wrote in an email to CNN.

He described a pre-print paper released in August -- in which scientists described culturing viable virus from air in a hospital -- as "an important addition to the reports of large outbreaks that were clearly a result of transmission by aerosols that travel more than 6 feet."

"It is time for WHO to acknowledge these advancements in the science," Milton said.

how many months late is this? Lol

CDC isn’t a public health organization, more accurately it functions as a PR firm for the trump administration on epidemiological issues lol
