There’s no data showing that the vaccines are losing effectivenessAnybody come across any data related to the mixing of vaccines? I've been fully vaccinated since early April but getting concerned the effectiveness may be wearing off. I've seen reports about Pfizer working on their booster shot but I'm hesitant to wait with Delta running through these streets. With NYC offering $100, I'm really starting to consider this Moderna re-up. If I remember correctly, one breh in this thread got all three vaccinesHow are you doing months down the road fam?
It’s not.

Taking my vaccinated ass out to see The Green Knight tomorrowIt’s not.

you guys lied to me going to have to cancel my london trip now![]()
The government of the United Kingdom and the government of Scotland announced today that travellers to England and Scotland who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the European Union or United States will be exempt from mandatory quarantine upon arrival — but fully vaccinated travellers from Canada will still have to undergo quarantine.

The point is that the current vaccines do not significantly reduce viral load, do little to disrupt transmission and therefore the basis for the claim referencing Marek's disease in the response post does not apply.
Therefore the jury is still out and there is a non negligible likelyhood that precipitated mass vaccination does accelerate breeding of more infective variants.

A growing body of evidence indicates that people fully vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) are less likely than unvaccinated persons to acquire SARS-CoV-2 or to transmit it to others. However, the risk for SARS-CoV-2 breakthrough infection in fully vaccinated people cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is continued community transmission of the virus.
Studies from India with vaccines not authorized for use in the United States have noted relatively high viral loads and larger cluster sizes associated with infections with Delta, regardless of vaccination status.(96) These early data suggest that breakthrough Delta infections are transmissible. Unpublished data are consistent with this, and additional data collection and studies are underway to understand the level and duration of transmissibility from Delta vaccine breakthrough infections in the United States and other settings.
Most new infections in the U.S. continue to be among unvaccinated people. But “breakthrough” infections, which generally cause milder illness, can occur in vaccinated people. When earlier strains of the virus predominated, infected vaccinated people were found to have low levels of virus and were deemed unlikely to spread the virus much, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said.
But with the delta variant, the level of virus in infected vaccinated people is “indistinguishable” from the level of virus in the noses and throats of unvaccinated people, Walensky said.
The data emerged over the last couple of days from 100 samples. It is unpublished, and the CDC has not released it.
Comical. Really is. Faulty “study” in Israel, faulty “study” and won’t even release the data now around the new guidance. Then they wonder why no one cares what they have to say in the first place. This study was centered around a vaxx we don’t even use in this country, and was so shyt it was rejected for peer review. They don’t have any actual hard data showing what they said, hence it remains “unpublished”
The problem with your logic is it only applies to break through cases.
From the CDC site:
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
There's a non-negligible likelihood almost anything can happen. There is zero hard data to suggest the last sentence in your post. Only some guy's blog.
Also, back to the original point you were trying to make....
CDC reverses course on indoor masks in Florida, other parts of U.S.
So....yeah. Why the CDC is issuing guidance based on half assed info is beyond me.
Fred.
