And you pointing out the so called flaws in the data and information from the so experts called isn’t going to do the same?

The information you’re picking holes in is the same information that the CDC just used to justify the future need for the booster shots. By you pointing out the holes and other doctors doing the same, all you’re doing is creating more skepticism and fueling the narrative of people who already don’t trust the CDC and don’t think they know what they’re talking about.

That’s literally the point and other breh haven’t realized with what you’re saying. You’re doing the same thing y’all gripe about others on this site doing with COVID-19 data and information.
Are you vaccinated?

This is the problem when people look at only half the #'s without context.

Israel has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world. Among 60+ their vaccination rate is something like 90%. So just 10% of unvaccinated are accounting for close to 40% of the hospitalizations.

Here is the exact difference:

Health Ministry data shows that among Israelis aged 60-plus, there are 16.6 people per 100,000 in serious condition. Among the unvaccinated the figure is 98.5.

Among older Israelis, serious COVID rate six times as high if unvaccinated

The vaccine is ENORMOUSLY helpful. It's that simple if you just stop and think/research for 5 minutes.

I posted this 2 pages ago and folk so fixated on stan wars they completely ignoring it.

:dead:THE NUMBERS CAN BE
SPINNED LIKE THIS
FOR THE UNVACCINATED TOO.

POSITIVE CASES FOR THE UNVAXXED
REPRESENT WHAT PERCENT
OF THE UNVAXXED?

I literally just posted that for Israel just a few comment above you:

Health Ministry data shows that among Israelis aged 60-plus, there are 16.6 people per 100,000 in serious condition. Among the unvaccinated the figure is 98.5.

So unvaxxed, at least in Israel, are over 6x more likely to end up in serious condition than the population at large. Since that 16.6 per 100,000 number is the total (including the unvaxxed), the # for vaccinated would be even lower than that.

I’ve stated many times on this site that I’ve been vaccinated since April and don’t tell me I have nothing to worry about as I live in a COVID hotspot state right now.
A covid hotspot state for the unvaccinated, sure. Talking about hypocrisy and in here vaxxed up trying to tell everyone how ineffective they are. Straight retard status

1-starred because that # without context is completely meaningless.

There were only 300 hospitalized vaccinated folk in that entire highly-vaccinated country. Without knowing the % of the total vaccinated, then the % of hospitalized people who are vaccinated doesn't mean anything. If 95% of vulnerable people are vaccinated and just 5% are unvaccinated, then the fact that just 60% of the hospitalized are vaccinated shows the vaccine is working VERY well.

According to the #'s I just posted from Israel's own Ministry of Health, the vaccine has been about 85% effective in preventing serious disease among those 60+.

They’ve literally been talking about the vaccine becoming ineffective over time and the eventual need for a booster shot. I literally posted information from Israel that the US used as basis to derail the need for a booster shot. Yet you come griping that the information from the experts are wrong like that’s not going to hurt the cause and make people hate the CDC even more than they do now.

Tell me how does that make sense?

I’ve posted context and charts all in this thread that the US actually from Israel used to justify bringing forth the booster shot, but people have ignored it. Even the US flat out stated that said information and data from Israel helped change their mind about the need for the booster shot.

Israel literally started the booster shot at the end of July for the elderly and now the US is following suit with certain patients as well. People are literally and choosing the information to acknowledge that fits their narrative and talking points here.

For future reference. Don’t complain about a poster not taking data and information from the CDC serious when you aren’t doing so yourself. You look like a hypocrite in not doing so.

Have a good night sir.

Considering I used the data within that article to make the calculation, I don't think I was picking out any flaws in the data. So I'm not sure where you're getting that from.

My beef is that the article itself is being sensationalized and the data is being misrepresented. What the article should say is "Despite the Delta variant not being apart of the trials for the vaccine, it is still proving to be highly effective and the best weapon against COVID." Rather than being some scary bullshyt headline with a large percentage number knowing damn well no one's going to actually read that shyt because humans are fukking stupid.

No I'm pretty sure they're recommending boosters because studies have noticed that antibodies are waning around the 6-7 month mark, and that's pretty much the only reason why. Once again no one is challenging the data in that article, the challenge is how sensationalized that article is almost as if it's trying to purposely mislead people about the effectiveness of the vaccine in order to get clicks.

By showing a simple calculation that pretty much proves the vaccines work as they're designed to, I don't believe we're pushing any kind of misinformation. We're letting people know "hey look at these numbers the vaccine works please protect yourself". You're just arguing in bad faith at this point if you're stating that we're pushing misinformation. You're also completely misrepresenting my argument as a whole, because you've demonstrated on more than one occasion you have a bad habit of not being able to admit when you're wrong.
