Nah, Nash is better, but that's the only other MVP that Rose can make a case against.
Zeke didn't have the benefit of playing with an elite defense until the second half of his career. The Pistons were a scoring team with shooters and Zeke got in where he fit in. When Daley took over and changed the structure of that team, Zeke changed his game to win. Despite Paul's greatness he never had a Dumars, Agguire, Tripuka, or Dantley to stand in his way statistically. Paul has the ball 90-95% of he time, Zeke didn't and was more effective. In those Piston champonship years it was Zeke who carried them there. Paul has time to catch up to Zeke but right now the comparison favors Zeke. Not to mention the level of comp Zeke overcame, he beat Larry's Celtics, Michael's Bulls and Magic' s Lakers IN THE PLAYOFFS AND FINALS.....the holy trifecta (who else has done that?) Paul couldn't beat Kobe's Lakers in 2008 with a complete Hornets team.

The Bulls are currently 2.5 games out of the number 2 seed in the East with Rose not playing a single game. And with a roster that lost several key rotation players from last season.
The Bulls had the best record in the NBA last season with Rose missing 41% of the season.

fukk the record look at the team construction you know how bad the east is overall that's hardly a reason to devalue rose as a player and we suck against the west btw we are significantly better with him on both ends and benefited from the shorted season due to our depth and bringing back the same team so it was a cause and effect. No shyt the Bulls would be better with a borderline top 10ish player. The problem is the media foolishly credited Rose for the Bulls' record in 2011. When it clear as day to anyone that understands the game of basketball that it was their NUMBER #1 RANKED defense that was winning them games. Rose would shoot 5 of 21 and the Bulls would still win. That should have told them everything they needed to know.
