After some research, I went with NavyFed.. applied and got approved for 25k…5.99% APR…got their Platinum Card.. still contemplating if I should get the Chase Freedom Unlimited

went ahead and applied for and got the freedom unlimited…now gotta figure out a way to maximize these chase points

Wells Fargo Active Cash Card is better $200 cash back on $1000 spend in the first 3 months instead of $250 on $3000. Same 2% cash back. 0% APR for 15 months instead of 12. Visa instead of AMEX so accepted more places.

True. I actually have the Wells Fargo Active Card Cash.

I'll wait for some other deals to come out. I have a lot of the Chase cash back cards.

Tried to increase my Quicksilver credit limit but got denied because

Capital One is evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits.

at this point I'm keeping the card just to pad my profile, but I need to get something with a more substantial limit.

PayPal CC doing 3% CB on PayPal purchases now. It's a small extra step of clicking the PayPal button instead of the auto-populated CC info

I'm not in any hurry to replace it since no annual fee. 99% of things I put on my Gold.

Used a hack to get my X1 card to give 3x at Walmart. Now it's my official Walmart card. Had to make a dedicated virtual card for Walmart and add it to my Walmart Pay then load the X1 app, load the custom card in it and do Walmart Pay from the Walmart app at the register. Gave me 3x points instead of 2.

Use the credit card to automatically pay your bills, and not much more. Use the debit card for nothing more than to withdraw cash from the account that you have allowed for yourself in your budget until the next pay period.

I used to have groceries and other variable expenses in a different categories, and withdrew money have fun, but now I put it all in one category.
