BTW, I haven't watched a movie in a theatres since spring breakers.
I haven't watched TV or owned one oustide of going to friends or family's place since June of 2008.
I don't know anything about sports, TV, or movies since then other than what I see on the internet.

My laptop has been my sole source of entertainment since then.

THat's why I'm not as invested in entertainment as some of you are. Nor can relate to your general attitude.

At the end of the day it's a distraction. I learned that after I stopped watching TV for so long. I had so much free time I invested myself into school fully, working out, going to the gym, skateboarding, business, art, shyt like that. Media consumption is the enemy of black people seriously. And mindless media consumption too.

I'm 31 now, I honestly don't care about entertainment. I live in the real world and focus more on my relationships with real people. People got to learn to not be staring into a damn screen all the time whether its a TV, or movie screen, or a computer, or a phone. The shyt ain't healthy.

Dear Breh, the Rocky Franchise is one of the oldest, successful, and most heavily "cac" supported franchises that exists in america today. To have a young breh be given the chance to succesfully participate as the "main leading" character is a huge deal. In this particular case; Hollywood should be applauded for putting the movie on Jordans shoulders.....and he delivers. A positive Black character who isn't killed in the first 15 minutes of the movie, a character that has substance, a character who overcomes adversity on his path to self actualization and enlightenment. Its a nice flick too.

2015 was a silent comeback for the black directors and movies.
