I remember when this guy started crying his eyeballs out talking about how his mom used to beat his ass. Then Isiah Thomas was on a show with him and he was talking about how his ratchet ass family would bring guns and liquor to games and Carter was shucking and jiving. Dudes a loser.

Carter was tolerable (not good) a few years ago when he was trying to be a real analyst, but he’s just playing a character like the rest of em now.

Maybe I’m just :flabbynsick:, but I don’t know how or why anyone can stand to watch any of these debate shows these days.
It’s not just you

Worst thing is to be at work early in the morning and hear some idiots on tv screaming and arguing

A couple of weeks ago Nick Wright was criticizing Bill O'Brien's in game coaching and he said its been an issue for years since he's been following the team back when he lived in Houston. Then CC hit him with the "well that's your issue, you're more of a local media guy, I look at things from the national level" spiel, just shytting on him, lol. I know this is Wright's first big job instead of being the fill-in dude so he gotta be feeling grateful, but dealing with that shyt gotta get old for him.

I'd be waiting outside his dressing room for that one. I'll be charitable the first time someone tries to play me out of pocket but if multiple people here have noticed it, his friends have definitely been putting him on game if he didn't notice it himself. CC needs to get CC'd as in chin checked.

This guy is always criticizing players and telling them to be grateful, he keeps criticizing leveon bell because he refused to report to the team and try to get a contract with good guaranteed money.

He's jealous of the money that they make. A person that always has to remind you of who they are are people that are not secure with their position in the pecking order of things. All things considered, he had a great career but he wishes that he was greater. Mentioned with Rice, Moss, and Owens is what he wished he could be viewed as.

There's definitely some insecurity going on with him. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what contributed to his substance abuse issues earlier in his career.

I appreciate the way he's handled Josh Gordon tho. Suppressed the :mjpls: instinct that a lot of cats who've beaten addiction have towards others unable to handle their own demons.

I'm not sure if its jealousy that drives the way he reacts to players tho...the Vikings ownership really did look out for him when he should've been on his way out of the league after getting cut by the Eagles for taking that 80s cocaine life to the next level...I think he projects the way they took care of him (getting him into rehab, being patient with him, multiple chances, etc) and the gratitude he has for that onto other players' situations. He has a tough time understanding that he lucked up with the franchise that claimed him off waivers, and that not every franchise treats their players with the same respect.
