Also - big fan of both Larry June and Al but Endurance Runners didn’t quell my reservations on the Larry x ALC tape coming out this year - I think it’s just the beat though. Still not sure their styles mesh but ALC is a genius so I sure he can find a style for Larry like he has with Spitta.

Larry June and Cardo is absolute fukking money though.

As a Larry fan, I noticed that certain beats be whoopin his ass, lol. It's usually the super slow, boom bap ones. "Dear Winter" was the exception. He shines on more uptempo production though. Alchemist seems to be happy about the shyt they've been making in the studio and Boldy James said they got fire so we'll see.

Larry killed this Alc joint from a couple years ago. Might have flew over people heads and they missed it before they really knew about Larry. So he been perfecting his craft for Alc for a min now. He ready for it!

Dope - Larry ain’t really kill it like that but would be happy with that vibe for the tape.

After a few listens, I was hard on this album earlier on. It's dope, just an entirely different vibe than CC and this seemed like a sequel ie. Continuance from it.

I wouldn't put this above Outrunners which is my favorite recent Spitta project. ALC is very drumless here but these loops and switches and little intricacies to these beats are incredible.

Man I been listening to this since it dropped. This some magical music. The production is perfect. The raps are on another level. Soon as I heard No Yeast I immediately felt this was gonna be one of his best pieces of work. It is that indeed.

Bo Jackson and Super Tecmo are two of the brightest and most colorful batches of Al beats, period.

There's crazy ass Boldy fans out there that actually dislike Bo Jackson on the grounds that it's too vibrant and wavy sounding and not dark and menacing enough.

Turpentine, Steel Wool, Photographic Memories, Diamond Dallas, First 48, Illegal Search and Seizure, Bumps and Bruises, Hot Water Tank, Francois, Great Adventures, No Laughing Matter, Fake Flowers, Flight Risk, 3rd Person...gorgeous beats.

not sure we reach the same criteria when half the songs mentioned don’t match, the last tape absolutely was a better reflection it, despite its short track list, it delivered nicely.

We got a packed year too.

Confirmed for 2022 we got the RocChemist album, EarlChemist album, Larry June EP, The Sandwich LP with various rappers, and Conway confirmed yesterday that the Lulu sequel will probably drop 2022 as well.

And who knows what else Al has cooked up.

shyt is funny because nikkas calling this mid but this is the best Currensy project I've heard in years. I don't listen to everything that he drops either but this has a lot of replay value.

Its different types of Curren$y sounds

Some of us prefer that brighter Harry Fraud stoner sort of sound

Some of us like the grimier Alchemist experimental, darker production

I like them both if they're done well. I think this project is as good as Regatta

The production on Regatta and on Continuance represents Currensy being dope on both ends of the spectrum imo

Might just be me, but i think boldy and Larry are boring as fukk. Their flows/lyrics are not as intricate as they should be considering how monotone their voices are. Make a nikka wanna go take a nap. Sound like le$ tryna be another spitta but haven't done all the prior music to reach that level of completion as an artist. nikkas sound like when you put yo big homie/og on a track just Kuz y'all was lit in the studio together
