I am a pure Kobe stan and I remember prime Kobe going for 81 and 62 in 3 quarters (twice) 4 games in a row of 50 plus (two 60 point games in there as well) so it takes a lot to impress me. Curry has just impressed me this season like prime Bean and of course Mike.

I can't explain Steph. I just can't. They say this will influence a generation of shooters.

But I don't think we'll ever see a shooter like this again. What Steph has can't be achieved through practice. It just can't. It's not normal.

Now, "most amazing player ever" doesn't necessarily mean "best player ever". What Steph does might be more amazing to OP, than what MJ used to do. That doesn't mean OP thinks Steph's the overall better player. Alot of you have Steph fatigue, but every great player has had their year when the media wouldn't stop slobbing them. LBJ, MJ, Shaq, Kobe, Rose, Durant, they've all had their day in the sun. And we're living in Steph's day.

He never had the layups because for the most part he dunked the ball. :lolbron:

Pretty layups just weren't his thing. Just like Steph dunking isn't his.

I guess it depends on what people are talking about in terms of wow factor. Is it skill wise or does raw athleticism no longer considered a wow factor :jbhmm:

Jumping up and snatching a rebound over somebody's head and then sprinting down the court coast to coast doesn't excite you....then..:manny:

Also you could problem find a highlight reel of nothing but crazy LeBron jumpers. He's just a streak shooter and never takes/makes those shots as consistently as others.

He wasn't even peak athletically in Miami and he was still jumping over people making absurd plays.

LeBron's passing TODAY is still more aesthetically pleasing than most pg's in the league. Brehs were in the OKC/Cle game thread :mindblown: at some of those passing.

Now I get Jordan and Kobe.

Steph...as already the most amazing player to watch :patrice:

It just seems to create a spark for the brehs who did a bunch a nice dribbles and fired up off balanced 3's from deep all those years ago. Its personal for some. :manny:

u brought up a great point:ehh:

yes raw athleticism plays a part which Lebron is certainly gifted in that department (mj,kobe were too) but im leaning towards skill wise tho...

..he's not as creative or skillful as jordan or kobe b..even Westbrook falls in that discussion dude is athletically gifted as lebron but watch them play isos :dame: they rely more on their quickness than their bball skills

breh mj/kobe are so slick with their footworks they can you break u off with anything. it dont matter if there's a double or tripple team surrounding them, they always find a way..

especially prime Kobe..u could even make a case skillfully he's the greatest offensive player of all time

if there was ever a soundtrack for those 2 when they come at defenses down the court with the ball
this should b it :jawalrus:

Reading some real suspect shyt in this thread

"There's nothing special about LeBron he's just a great athlete"

"LeBron shouldn't even be mentioned with Curry right now, Curry's only chasing Bean and Jordan"

Ya'l gotta stop. What Curry is doing is awesome but let's not disrespect a decade of dominance. Dude was the best player in the world like the last 8 out of the last 10 years :russ:

its about 6 or 7 players that can do what steph does every game if they had the green light or the heart. KD being one of them. he can cross people over and do pull up 3s. im not sure why he dosnt more.

and the big o is right. they NEVER pick him up from half court or from 3 4th of the court. they LET him set up his shots. its kinda interesting. when they were picking him up he missed.

this isnt college. you're not picking up a great ball handler 3/4th of the court, especially when he just hands it off to klay or iggy to take it up, then runs off screens
