its better if you heard Get Lucky ahead of time, because this does not sound like any other DP album. This sounds like some robotic steely dan ish. mix that with disco.

Contact is what this album shouldve been. Doing It Right with Panda Bear was cool, so was Giorgio By Moroder. Pharrell joints were aite.

Still cant rock with this album right now. I'll break it out a few more times and TRY to like it cause I love DP but this album is proof that INSTRUMENTATION does not simply equal GOOD.

I swear when I heard that fukking ragtime piano on Touch That was the nail in the coffin for me

They are going to do a remix album for this....Get Lucky Remix is dropping end of June. Guess all those live instrumentals are gonna get sampled/chopped into something else.

this album was a colossal failure

The critical praise for this is hilarious. Ok if you like it, you like it, and thats great. But if this was played anonymously and "Daft Punk" were never mentioned, it would get ridiculed
