Don't compare us to Dallas
And it's obvious u don't know shyt about Austin
I live in Houston and have been to Austin. I've travelled all over the U.S., Canada and the U.K. but Texas as a whole, Mississippi, Boston, Kentucky and Alabama culture is on some :mjpls: shyt. No offense, just my opinion. I didn't see it too much in Austin though. Also Dallas seems more progressive than Houston but I'm retiring from talking down on Texas. I don't care anymore.

Strong AA community :hula: Strong liberal values

I'll take the former. Last thing Houston needs to become is a baby cali hipster racist haven, mass AADOS exodus and all, like Austin.

:hubie:

My opinion is never changing. Y'all can love your redneck loving conservative state. I'm staying outta this.

Economically maybe. The city puts more money into emerging industries, while Houston tends to stick to it's bread and butter- The oil industry.

I still ain't even moving anywhere permanently. Dallas would be my 2nd choice. Definitely ain't leaving TX ever.

Even as far as infrastructure we are more modern. Houston always feels like the biggest country town ever to me. Kinda reminds me of Ft. Worth just with way more to do and like 3 or 4 times as big.

I do go outside, I'm actually currently back in school at UHD.

Ironically, all Texans reiterate this same statement in the same sense as an African American explaining all the racism in America to a white person and their comeback being - "Why don't you go back to Africa" "If you don't like it, leave"...

Like I said, I've traveled and seen it all. Texas is a different planet, go embrace a redneck, country music, cac culture and be proud brother, I'll leave it at that.
