Say it again. As chris rock said best, ‘only the white man can profit from pain’.

Only white folk can bask in the greatness of capitalism. Nggas? Oh you gotta bring everybody who you ever worked with along with you or you a grimy sellout

Nah, Dame has like 20+ of the same people around him. On a personal level. With Jay, as Dame has pointed out, the people around Jay all work for him. So they have to stay good with him, he's their boss.

Jay said himself that he has "a couple" people around him that's been there since day one. Dame has people around him that don’t work for him, but are just actual friends that aren't connected to anything he's doing or ever did in business. That's how you really see loyalty. They're not there for a job. Or bread.

I never said Jay was a snake. But with all the people I know who work for him, those aren't friendships, they're jobs. I'm talking about loyalty to people who don’t do anything for you, and who you don’t employ. There's a huge difference.
This is a great point.

Because Biggs wasnt fukkin with jay AT ALL after da roc a fella spilt. They made up after Biggs went to jail and was on hard times. Jay provided a opportunity and he took it. That ain't no real friendship lol

Dame has the confidence of a capable and accomplished man.

But everything besides Rocafella records has been mediocre at best.

It's interesting. But ultimately this lack of humility is a glaring flaw. He plays it his way thinking he's projecting strength, but everyone sees the vulnerability clearly.

Could he ever just drop the macho act and show true emotion? If he did - even though he thinks that would ruin him - he would come across as more mature.
Post your accomplishments so we can gauge if you're qualified to judge his.

It's not about staying with Dame forever. It's about how you do it.

Russell and Rick Rubin didn't stay together forever. There's mad partnerships that went separate ways. That's normal. But to go behind the back of your business partner and set-up a future for yourself with the same people that have asked you to push out your business partner...that ain't ever cool to do. That's the issue.

So dame was not doing the same doing things behind his back?

Bleek even said to dame it was ending

Dame even said they was gonna sell befor the break up

The real problem is

Or hear me out

One of the strange change of story’s dame was saying through the years on why they broke up

They all got the same exact amount from the business

What happened to dames portion?

They all got the same spilt

Biggs went to jail

Dame tried ddmg then that thing with currnesy that ended up with the chillest dude suing dame

Jim jones sued him too

Dame was doing something but so many just want to put it on one guy

Maybe it was as simple as jay didn’t want to split that money 3 ways anymore at some point you want to do your own thing

But what would be the best way to separate?

I asked this question and no one really can answer

The plan to sell later was made way back in '98.

But that wasn't the issue. The issue was going behind Dame's back to work deals with people who didn't like Dame and Biggs. Jay secretly working with people who he knew wanted to push out his partners, was a foul move. Biggs got locked up like 8 years after they sold the label. Clearly because his pockets weren't right.

Spitta was wrong for suing Dame. Dame signed him, paid for his sessions for two classic albums that dropped on Dame's label, and gave Spitta the producer that worked on both. Then he released the albums, but Spitta wasn't happy with how he felt those albums affected his other deal with Warner Bros. So he sued Dame for the money he felt he would've made elsewhere. That was just weird. Dame took Spitta to the next level, and funded everything for him for years, and just put the music out. Spitta said he didn't agree to him doing that, but other people around the project said otherwise.

Best way for them to separate is just to sit at the table and agree to terms. Not go behind Dame's back and work with the same people that wouldn't even deal with you back when Dame was running from company to company fighting for you. That was wild. The same people that Jay was working secretly with, were the ones that were slamming doors in his face when he was trying to get on earlier in his career.

told black ppl to get over kneeling once he was presented with a check.

Dmx said da same thing. Jay makes decisions based on money, this goes all da way back to selling crack to his own mother. He's money driven, some ppl have actual morals and don't just use people.

This right here.

I love Jay's music, but he's definitely driven by bread. Money comes first with him, a lot of the time. He knew what R. Kelly was doing with the pedo thing, but that was a decent check for him back then, so he was willing to look the other way. Did a couple albums with dude, and tried to tour too. When Beans was on trial, he asked Jay to come speak on his behalf because the judge said that would help him, to back him and his whereabouts. Jay said no because it's not a good look for him, lol. Dame and Biggs showed up to court everyday.

Jay said Beans was bad for business. Jay is all about Jay. That's my dude, but that's who he is.
