Dame Dash suggests Jay-Z is trying to erase him from the history of Roc-A-Fella Records.

Dame was a leech with no talent. Why isn’t he thanking Jay at every turn?

I feel like Jay's just going to hop on a feature one day and address Dame directly on the song.

So your saying jay was totally wrong for not wanting to deal with dame anymore

And dame did nothing wrong ?

Nah, I don’t have any issues with Jay. I think he's entitled to feel however he does. He and Dame were partners and equals. If he wants to end that partnership because of moves Dame made with him, that's fine.

It's the people who Dame actually supported and put on, who got shady with him in order to gain favor with Jay, so that they could stay afloat. Those are the people I think are suckas. It's like Dame said, they didn't have to sh*t on him to make themselves look better. It's bad karma. But in the music business, people have normalized being snakes so much that people think there's nothing wrong with it.

Once Jay sold 5 million. Dame was not needed anymore. people only put up with his disrespectful ways was because he was Jay partner. most of the stories of Dame being a A hole came after the success. I saw enough of Dame disrepecting people to know the relationship would run its course. Dude even fell out with that one fat guy who kept interviewing him.

I appreciate u got me the job but damn this the 100th time u said the shyt lol

He spends most of his time reacting to what people are doing and saying about him.

He feels betrayed. I can understand why he says what he does. Especially if he's looking back and thinking about how much he's done for these same people. Anyone would feel salty about how they're still acting today.

Roc definitely still needed Dame. He's the one that fought for the label to get a better split for the Hard Knock Life Tour. Def Jam was trying to pay the artists evenly for a tour that was built on Hov's album. Dame was storming offices and fighting for Jay as the headliner to get a bigger share. He was seen as an "assh*le" because he wasn't willing to accept the "n*gga deals" they were throwing at him. He fought for Jay, for Beans, and definitely for Kanye. So this is someone that was very vocal about his artists always getting their fair share. He even went back and paid Cam's debt that he owed to Undeas. So that Cam could be free and start recording again.

Problem is, he was fighting the kind of people who aren't used to black executives defending themselves and going to war for what was rightfully theirs. Those people don’t like that. So they told Jay that once he was done with Dame, they would take care of him. And they threw Jay deals and an office job, and Dame was gone. So yeah, it's about loyalty. And everyone isn't really with that, if there's a check elsewhere for them.

My point all that came after the success. Those execs tolerated Dame to not piss Jay off. Jay didn’t need anyone to tell get away from Dame. Dame actions led to their break up. Not someone in Jay ear. Dame got drunk with power

I see what you’re saying but this was a celebration of Jay-z not Roc-a-fella.

It was pictures of people Jay fukks with today.

Google and YouTube Dame dissing Jay-z and you’ll find maybe 20 clips/articles per year which might explain why he’s not included in a celebration of Jay-z. A celebration of Roc-a-fella is another thing in my ears.

It’s like random backstage photos of Jay and Mary J Blige. It would really be weird to me if you included a random photo of Jay-z and Dame smiling, to celebrate the former when the latter hates the former.
I’m sorry you’re right
