While it is easy to mock Dame, he comes off as genuine and authentic, for better and for worse. Jay-Z is always hiding his hands, and all of his interviews are a struggle to listen to. This is because his success is a product of his handlers and not himself, it lets you know he has nothing of value to tell anyone.

He tricked people into thinking he was heavily invested in the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, he flipped the script on Colin Kaepernick's movement in the NFL, Tidal is a joke, he is a man who lacks integrity.

Dame is not a businessman. He’s a marketer. It’s a difference. Real businessmen don’t get $20 million or $50 million and don’t figure out the next move.
