It was a no win situation regardless of what job he took

There is/was less pressure to succeed in the Cleveland front office job compared to Portland where fans and the media want Dame in a bigger market. You also wouldn't have to deal with moody ass Lillard who is always griping about something.

He think’s he’s a fukkin superstar. He’s 6’0 tall and plays zero defense.

Look at how delusional this guy is how is Portland supposed to get Simmons without trading his ass :mjlol:

This dude is a hoe

Edit: Just saw that Morey was willing to do it with McCollum and mad draft picks :ohhh:
better off trading dame than destroying your whole future of picks for Ben Simmons, they’ve already traded some of their picks.. they bout to have no future when Simmons and Dame ends up being a first round exit lol

That's on him for taking the job even the flaws of the team were already there. He knew that Dame was moody and the team needed a major revamp, yet still took the job anyways.
You’re right but it seems like black coaches always end up in these lose lose situations.

they need to blow this team up. dame and cj will not win anything meaningful and the FO is a mess.

there's only 30 nba HC jobs so i get why billups accepted this offer but it was just shytty timing for him. they had a stable FO but this year everything is just hitting the fan.
