Damn old NFL players are just as delusional as old NBA players “Id average 350 yds rushing this era”

In the right offense. Yeah. In that titans offense, they’d get creative for an athlete like Bo. But not because he’s bigger faster stronger than the average NFL athlete today. Running backs are just as big and even quicker. But I think Bo would do great in the right offense. It’s funny, Bo’s opinion is an outlier amongst former NFL athletes. Most former NFL players from back in the day admit that the players in today’s game are bigger, faster and stronger than back in their day. Old school NBA players on the other hand? They have no respect for today’s NBA athlete.

Probably would be better if he had said "there's no linebacker in the league today that could go lateral with me, tackle me in space, or see me at the goal line"

Folks would be in their feelings, but there's nobody in the NFL beside Bobby Wagner that could possibly do it :yeshrug:

Don't even bring up Luke Concussions-weekly :hhh:

Bo would be a consistent 1500 yard back with him probably threatening or getting to 2000 yards at least once in his career if he played and only focused on football. Not going to give him more than that as that would still be an all time great career for a player.

Literally everyone in the thread was talking stats long before I stepped into it. Talk about the subject and not about other men you ain't never even met. :camby:

Let's get away from the stats for a second:

1) You claimed linebackers were smaller now than they were in Bo's day and got proven wrong.

2) You claimed offensive linemen were smaller now than they were in Bo's day and got proven wrong.

3) You claimed offensive linemen were better run blockers in Bo's day, which works AGAINST the point you were trying to make and you didn't realize it.

Do you think Roger Craig was as talented as Bo Jackson? How about Emmitt Smith? Marion Butts? Ernest Byner? Neal Anderson? Dalton Hilliard? James Brooks?

Just wondering.
I didnt say o-linemen were smaller now. I said linebackers are and I wasnt proven wrong. :camby:

Linebackers were bigger because linemen back then were much better downhill blockers than they are now. Get your lies straight.

and screw all that other mess. You going stat happy over a guy who came into the league each year not football ready and a week of practice at position that relies on rhythm and timing shows everything yiu truly dont know about the sport.

have you ever player RB and been good at it at any point in your stat happy life?

a single sport focused Bo would have better numbers, period. But your dolt ass really thought you were proving a point posting those number as if this was a player coming into a normal Football situation like the other 1500 players in the league

Bo obviously didnt mean that. He just knows he's better than every back currently playing in the league, which he is.

Bo couldn’t average 200 against slow 5 flat or worse forty time LBs and now he could average 2000 per season against faster, fitter and more athletic defenders? :mjlol:

edit: Don’t take that the wrong way though. Bo was a great athlete :whoa:

Bo was fresh off of baseball season. If he focused singularly on football, we would have seen a 2000 yard season from him at some point in his career.

I don't think you guys get the abnormality of a niqqa running a 4.2 at 230 pounds. That is unheard of TODAY. He was a genetic mutation.

So I’m suppose to believe a nikka who never ran for 1,000 yards in a season is suppose to be the next Adrian Peterson?
Marcus Allen ran for 1700 yards in a season before Bo got there.. They split carries.. If you look at Bo Yards per carry then you can see it.. Maybe 120 yards per game..

You’re right. That is an abnormality but what is that in laser time nowadays? You know the stopwatch method is slower and less precise bc of human error. I know Bo was fast af but idk if he was 4.1 or 4.2 accurately. Maybe 4.41 with today’s technology. If he was actually 4.1 or 4.2 at 230 lbs and shifty, yeah I agree he’d be averaging 1500+ rushing and 600+ receiving easily.
