Damn old NFL players are just as delusional as old NBA players “Id average 350 yds rushing this era”

You’re right. That is an abnormality but what is that in laser time nowadays? You know the stopwatch method is slower and less precise bc of human error. I know Bo was fast af but idk if he was 4.1 or 4.2 accurately. Maybe 4.41 with today’s technology. If he was actually 4.1 or 4.2 at 230 lbs and shifty, yeah I agree he’d be averaging 1500+ rushing and 600+ receiving easily.
Bruh....to just plop down and play RB.....professionally....with no camp....not even used to wearing shells?

My dude....if he went at it full time, he without question gets to 2k if he starts the season.

this dude twice qualified for the NCAA indoor 60-yard dash while at Auburn (his 6.18 60 yard dash run in 1983 is still in the Auburn record books). He was also a high-level decathlete in high school with a best mark of 8,340.

This niqqa was an abnormality.

Bo would not average 300 yards rushing per game we clear on that, right? :russ:

He split carries and came into the season after 9 games.

God...you dudes in here are awful.

We can only judge Bo by what he did on the field and his numbers, we can’t project how great he would’ve been based off his size and 40 time.

His overall carry output was too small to make a fair assessment on his NFL greatness. For instance Clinton Portis in his first two years had more carries than Bo had his entire career, in those two years portis averaged 5.5 YPC which was higher than what Bo averaged. If we used that small sample size then portis is better than Bo, but nobody is holding portis on that level.

But I am lol, again we can’t fairly judge Bo’s NFL greatness because his output was too small. 500 carries is not enough. His situation could’ve changed and he could’ve easily fell off the same way Clinton Portis did.
I mean Clinton Portia still finished with good numbers so that’s kinda a bad comparison..

We don’t know what Bo would’ve accomplished because he was part time and he got hurt.

We can only judge Bo by what he did on the field and his numbers,

That's for limited thinkers.

Broaden it. Ask yourself how a player can come midseason, not even wearing shoulder pads over the course of camp and can be plopped onto the field with some of the world's greatest athletes and still have dominant games.

Only going by the numbers are geeks. Football is a game where repetition, knowing who your lineman's cadence and way of blocking are developed over the course of camp and early in the season. It's as if you can't get past the numbers.

Going solely by numbers doesn't work for Bo by way of so much he didn't have on his side coming into the season.

This is where I feel that folks who've never played at a high level don't understand how football operates.

Booger McFarland said yesterday that if they hit his quarterback the way they hit Andy Dalton he would have came off the bench, walked on the field and fought the whole team. So yeah definitely delusional...
I mean I could see someone in that era atleast attempting to do so
