How many years has Kendrick been running the game , putting out consistent features/projects :comeon:
Once again. Please read. I said he's widely considered the best in the game. I'm talking about critical acclaim not popularity.

And he's been CONSISTENTLY dropping projects for 7 year since even though that has. Othing to do with anything I said. Go review the response to any of those projects. He has immense commercial success and CONSISTENT criticall acclaim. I have a feeling you just want to talk about a popularity contest. I'm talking about quality art

:shaq2: Drake puts out a full length studio project and says "issa playlist" and you nikkas run with that narrative. If you think "more life" didn't count as an "album" contractually your naive

See, your comprehension needs work. I never said drake isn't universally liked. I said his last two albums were not. Very mixed reception with both. Kendricks two (last four for that matter) received universal acclaim. Which is why it's a common sentiment that he's the greatest rapper of time.

:heh:
This half AA, half Jew CAC's music is "Black" by your definition?

He himself is not "black", yet you classify his music as simply "black". You want to hear BLACK MUSIC listen to any kendrick album that's irrefutably unapologetic BLACK music.

Some half cac Jew who is white culturally cycling through forced AA, West Indian and Afro British accents is not black music, it's BLACK FACE.
Yes Drake is black. You can cry all you want because you hate him but he's black.

Look at how passionate your hate is  JEW JEW CAC :pachaha:

You can call More Life what you want. I don't care really. Another successful, dope project.

Kendricks stature in the game is rising because he's knocking it out of the park every time when it comes to the quality of his projects

Drake hasn't had a universally liked album since NWTS. He's clearly lost his momentum and desperately trying to ride various international waves to avoid irrelevance
This. Post spot on

Also @CashmereThoughts More Life has been well received critically and commercially.

Drake haters in the media like Joe Budden even admit it's fire and the numbers have been strong after first week streaming.

I'm just posting this to see your angry spin to be honest

What is Drake jacking?

:mjlol: Drake has been comfy

He's the hardest working rapper out here

He stays pushing the envelope

Kendrick ran to Mike Will for a hit

Neither Cole nor Drake has had too

This is the first project he took a risk and decided to tap into UK Grime/Afrobeat

What's wrong with working with Mike will ? :why:

This isn't the first project where he's pushed the envelope

And nothing is wrong with working with Mike Will

But getting a Mile Will beat and biting flows for your first single doesn't seem creative or the height of artistic merit like y'all claim

Congrats to Kendrick even though this is what it SHOULDNT be about. fukk what your album sells the week it comes out. You want that shyt to be moving numbers 5 or 6 months down the line if you really want to win. Cause with Drake you know he's going to move some units once it starts releasing some singles of his playlist.

Joe Budden is not a drake hater, This the problem with you nikkas. Just because he criticized one drake album hes a "hater" even though he has praised drake his entire career. More life was received better than views. Damn is being heralded as the standard of excellence to beat this year. Theres critical acclaim and then theres nikkas just like your new shyt better than your last shyt. know the difference.

all of kendrick albums have been considered by many to be era defining pieces. Drake projects not garnering that type of acclaim and you know it

Obviously I love TPAB and think it's Kendrick's best album but I know it was somewhat divisive with fans who wanted GKMC 2.0. DAMN.'s success could be chalked up in part to many people seeing it as a return to the sound they wanted, plus there are a couple "radio" tracks on it.

Humble and DNA are dominating streaming charts right now, with Loyalty and Element no far behind. He found a nice balance between his artistic vision and what fans want. I would have never guessed the album would be this BIG. The numbers are insane.

Makes me curious what he'll do next. Terrace Martin said that while doing TPAB Kendrick was saying the next album had to go in opposite direction. End result was Jazz/funk to trap/rock/alternative. But where do you go from here? Whatever he does I'd imagine it won't be as drastic as TPAB. There will be some trap
