I think you're both right. I wonder if it's something genetic, or cultural, because men are comfortable being enablers to their peers as long as everyone is happy/having fun. Women usually wouldn't allow their friends to sink so far down a hole. On the flipside, women constantly clash & judge each other and that makes it harder for them to maintain friendships.
