Damn that new Drake song flopped off the charts. Did Kendrick really end his career?

They already proved Nokia wouldn't have reached #2 if there was no airplay for any song in the top 10.

Ovhoes will need another angle :russ:

Talkofthecharts already debunked this, and said Nokia would have charted LOWER if we removed airplay for each and every song on the hot 100.
And that new song is falling off the charts like crazy because of streaming, its falling off on spotify big time. Has nothing to do with radio airplay :dead:
Nokia peaked at two and spent 16 weeks in the top 10. It eventually got enough radio in April to get that high despite being released in February

Despite leading in nearly every category, it only hit number 2 because Luther was getting more than 3 times the radio play

This looks like “Ja Ruled” to you. By the way he getting 51 million streams daily. Far from cancelled but get ya daps.

Elimination attemp: FAILED

I mean Headlines is damn near a millennial anthem, I'd be out there shouting the hook wit em

Drake was way more popular with a bigger catalog than Ja Rule, he can coast as a legacy act til he's 60 if we're being honest

Lip on twitter (ex billboard admin) already said it was a fake narrative pushed by Drake fans lol.

Drake songs fell off because the streams fell off. He was only the 2nd most streamed last year because of the total of songs he dropped...not because the song were doing well individually.
Streams will fall after the initial drop, but you offset that by paying for radio. Every song that stays in the top 10 get a ton of radio play.

Nokia is 37th on that list. What did I miss is at 78. You ain't staying high on the chart with radio that low.

Thread by @Barnett114. Click and you'll see familiar names. Not even worth it

Hence why 3 of the names in that thread suddenly popped up referencing the same Twitter account in less than 5 mins.

I'm gonna still say Drake will sell a bunch of records and have more hits going forward. This just happened to be one of his weaker "street" records. And I put that in parenthesis because it's a Drake street record, not a street record as we've known it from rappers. But you know how Drake always will drop 2-3 tracks before the album drops...one will be the pop hit and the others will be for rap fans. For instance: Diplomatic Immunity, Lemon Pepper Freestlye, etc. They weren't hits but they had impact. I remember hoes making "I listen to heavy metal for meditation" for months after that shyt came out lol.

This track is just forgettable despite a nice beat/hook. He better figure out what the real comeback single is gonna be...
