Damn that new Drake song flopped off the charts. Did Kendrick really end his career?

And the idea of Drake getting blackballed is :dead:

Nokia was sent to pop radio, but as soon as it started getting airplays, it fell off real quick on streaming..
And the only reason it didn't go up on radio charts is because it had very low requests...meaning radio stations were ready to play the song like crazy, but PEOPLe did not want to hear it.

Just checked on spotify, Luther got even more streams than before :mjlol:
Crodies really trying hard with the fake tweets from ovo pages

On the other hand, Drake last songs lost streams like crazy...no wonder he was predicted to chart at #7 but ended up at #23 instead :dead:

Drake is relatively blackballed from having any positive mainstream or corporate owned media coverage while the lawsuit with Universal is pending. Also radio is purposely not playing his latest records which contribute heavily to billboard chart positioning.

Not surprised by the numbers based on that. Also, I think the ICEMAN rollout is a bit too cryptic and narrative driven for the average casual listener to connect with, as it’s a departure from his normal branding / image.

However, I think his actual fans are more excited about him than ever. Corporate media overplayed their hand a bit with hate-campaigns. Once the Super Bowl, DNC, Oscars and Kraft-Heintz are picking sides in rap-beef for marketing, even regular folks can start to see through the kayfabe a bit.

That’s all well n good but Drake has pushed his chips in on being a megastar, it’s thr basis for his whole gimmick. But without those corporate pushes that he had before, he can’t possibly be a megastar. So no matter where he lands it’s an L.

Even if him and Kendrick just end up switching places—- kendrick is the megastar and Drake is now the ‘very big very popular star but not as popular as the megastar’—it will still be an L.

So if regular fans see the “kayfabe” it won’t matter. The same way people like us who clowned Drake before but were drowned out bc he was poppin and ‘for the ladies’. Rabbit got the gun

So be it video dropped June 17, has 11m views. What did I miss video dropped July 10, has 6 m views

I’m no mathematician, but Drake’s vid is on pace to do about 12m after a month , just more than clipse. Since when does Drake ‘just’ beat out the clipse :ufdup:They are not supposed to even be close. He made a mistake trying to lil bro their release date

Bump.

2 weeks later. So Be it is up to 13m. So 2 mill additional views in 2 weeks. What did I miss is at 9M. 3m additional views in 2 weeks

So after 1 month clipse was about 10m. What did I miss will be about the same at their 1 month mark. Drake is getting views on par with the Clipse :francis:

Yea, he has fell off. Engaging Kendrick was a terrible career decision

Drake should keep dropping more songs, they'll all flop as usual but as least it will improve his total streams, cuz he'll be the only artist with 150547187 songs available on streaming (even if they're all trash)
