Does no one see any value in the principles Dame is talking about? Forget about who's sayin it for a moment, is there any value in the message? Lol... I think his point was, with all the assistance Kanye has benefitted from, he has not used his enormous influence and position to reciprocate some of the blessings bestowed upon him, to THOSE who bestowed them. Neither socially nor financially. These are the types of antics that don't go UNCHECKED in the real world amongst friends. But in the entertainment industry, it happens quite frequently. This then becomes the "Norm", and if not giving a fuc about the people who are partially responsible for your current success, status, and well being is the "Norm", then maybe it needs to become the "Norm" for nikkas who don't agree with that sentiment to speak out against it. I never heard Dame say Biggs was broke (Even if he was, it wouldn't matter. Thats why you've invested your time, money, and energy into PEOPLE like Kanye, and given them access to YOUR personal resources and relationships, in order to further develop the OVERALL network, and bring new friendships and alliances to the table as well, so that in the event you have to go away, or fall on hard times, those same people can help you sustain and get back on your feet if necessary....). Hell, invite the mans wife and kids to the concert when you in town. Send da nikka a Christmas card wit some flicks of the new Adidas line or somethin, write a rant or somethin dedicated to him,.. Give him a number to hit you up, see how he doin, listen to his ideas, let him hear a couple of new songs on speaker phone. Give him some inspiration and energy to feed off of while your star is still SHININ! Those things cost you NOTHING

Brah the real world is the business world. That's what Dame Isn't getting through his melon skull. He is still thinking like a 15 year old. Adults only really owe anything to their direct family or close personal friends, and that's only if they personally choose. People you are in business with aren't owed anything, and they owe nothing back unless there is some legal reason. Dame's job was to invest time into Kanye and make him known to the world. He did that, got paid and it's over. Everybody gained what they deserved to gain. Dame got money, Kanye did his craft. Dame just bitter because nobody likes his ass.

Dame got a lot of knowledge but needs somebody who can steer these interviews instead of just nodding they head to everything, and not challenging him...dude is intelligent and its tough to find interviewers who are confident enuff or feel smart enuff to have a battle of wits with the likes of Dame becuz he can potentially make u look real dumb.

But these series of interviews have shown what you get when u let him control the convo,he will beat a dead horse like he thinks its still full of life:mjlol:...I cant get with the "go away Dame" crowd:comeon:....dud got a lot of knowledge to spread but needs a intellectual equal or sumbody who can guide the convo to different places....the roc is dead,Jamars perspective on current events is entertaining and id like to hear more of that from Dame.

its hard to believe whoevers putting these interviews out don't realize a lot of these topics have been covered by dame already,or at least don't know how to edit the clips down when they know Dame is repeating himself throughout.

good exchange:salute:....I actually agree with both of yall, business is business......the problem is this is hiphop, and you got cats that try to bring street principles into hiphop......first of all street nikkas rarely live up to the strett principles they set for themselves:mjlol:.....if Dame was a street hustler he'd be the nikka in jail complaining about nobody coming to visit, putting money on his books, accepting collect calls on some "I thought we was all real nikkas?what about the codes yall:why:?"

Weve seen time and time again what happens when people try to bring street principles into the rap game:snoop:....few practice what they preach once they not getting money, handcuffed or you are simply worthless to them....and in the streets u can be held accountable,in a music business where nobody is actually held accountable cuz "business is business:manny:" its even worse and u definitely gon get fukked most likely:mjlol:

that's y im torn when ,u hear stories like this and dudes that's faking should be held accountable and called out...but on the other hand how bad can you feel for dudes that buy into that loyalty horseshyt in business whether its sports,rap,streets:snoop:...after seeing people get screwed time and time again?

Dame wrong period imo for not letting Biggs speak for himself unless Bigg said something and it sound like Biggs aint said shyt, its just something he feels personally....he better find out if him and BIggs live by the same principles before he get locked up and Biggs aint sendin em no money:sas2:

Well, we gotta ask ourselves, Was it business when Dame was payin hospital bills and month long hotel stays in Cali when you broke your jaw, when you were just makin BEATS (That he was BUYING FROM YOU).... Was it business when he was paying for you to shoot videos, cause the parent label wouldn't open a budget for you.. And he's sayin he did ALL OF THAT OFF THE STRENGTH OF BIGGS...Was it business when you was callin those same nikkas to hold you down and not get your chains snatched? Was it business when Dame had to step in and help stop you from gettin beat up in YOUR OWN CITY? Is it business when the very same shyt that got the dude locked up right now is the SAME shyt THAT Helped START THE LABEL THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO JUMPSTART YOUR CAREER ON... thats the thing, it can't jUST BE BUSINESS WHEN IT's CONVENIENT... and WE, being WHO WE ARE can't afford to buy into that it's JUST BUSINESS shyt... No it's personal in HIP HOP, always has been..Business is EVEN PERSONAL... Especially when the business was started based on personal relationships.. Lol.. How you think Kanye got to them in the FIRST PLACE? (Through PERSONAL relationships that eventually led to BUSINESS). I'm not sayin Kanye is totally at fault here, because I don't know all the details, but from the outside lookin in, I can see why Dame might be a little frustrated wit him. Lol

“I think it was when Damon Dash had me and some other Roc-A-Fella artists come over. He stressed the importance of connecting with London, especially. Then we went to France, and I hated France when we first went there. Now, of course, I love it,” Kanye said in an interview. “But at the time, there was a rapper out of Chicago who wanted me to show up at some event of his, and he was trying to threaten me in some way physically if I didn’t show up because we had done a record together. And Dame Dash had to man-up on the situation and apply a bit of gangster to have them fall back, just for me to be able to get on that first flight to London.” Kanye West (Interview Magazine)
