Yeah...learn to read and take notice of context...that's not a criticism of Jay-Z, moreso an observation of what appears to be a reoccurring theme with Dame...dude's fairly obviously bitter and upset at how he and jay's business relationship and friendship dissolved...has gone on a sustained interview campaign where he'll run down lyor, explicitly, for driving a wedge between he and jay...run down steve stoute for, in his words, whoring out his clients (and what do you know Jay is his most prominent one) to various corporations ...run down kanye for not holding down biggs and his family because biggs played a part of his early success, when EVERYTHING he mentions about kanye in that regard applies to jay to a greater degree considering dame, biggs, and jays spent a decade as "brothers" and partners...just the entire concept of begging an already proven unloyal ex-employee to hold your "brother" and his family down (against your bro's wishes mind you), as part of some larger campaign where you keep talking about how big of a boss you are with so many businesses that mean you can never go broke and do whatever you want when you want to...while your other brother is worth the better part of a billion dollars, (where jay falls in all of this is a question that is dying to be asked, if these were any kind of legitimate interviews)..just seems weird, to say the least...it all just screams of some kind of proxy war he's fighting in the media, with jay being the primary unnamed target that he won't just out and out take aim at..as a matter of pride...so he'll attack everybody around him, and then go "Oh, I never blame Jay for anything...that's my brother"

yeah that was my point also, its strange...maybe like @SunZoo said, its because Jay ignores him. I think it might be something more strategic between Jay & Dame

Kanye refused to make direct eye contact with Charlamagne and Sway while they were giving him harsh realities.. Kanye said he respected Bean's opinion after Bean's called him a fakkit...

The fact that he's saying "I'm almost sure Biggs is mad at me for saying this but..." just makes it sound like he's the one who wants a courtesy call. He doesn't have it in him to be humble enough to say that though.

Dame needs to chill with all these rant interviews.

But I'm not mad at anything he's saying though. He reminds me of a lot of older dudes I know. They live by a certain code. Times have changed, and the culture or standard for how dudes work is mad different today. So naturally, heads are gonna bump and opinions will be different. But I've always known OG dudes who see things the same way that Dame does. It's just their system of beliefs and it's what they live by.
