This mf Tatsu better wrap this arc soon, I'm tired of all the bad news :sadbron: he hasn't done a wholesome chapter with the whole gang at a 100% in too damn long :sadcam:

Act II has been slower, but I am buying that the payoff will be well worth it :blessed:

This episode adapted chapters 61-63 as well as the first page of chapter 64.

  • Man, how to evaluate the fight in terms of how creative it was was a treat.
  • They extended scenes like them building the house with nanoskin, Momo, TG & Seiko hanging by the bathhouse, and also Evil Eye playing soccer.
  • I love how they adapted when Jiji asks if Momo is in love. It takes the one panel where she is blushing and slows it down and adds music to add a lot of meaning. Where you know for sure she is in love with Okarun.
  • The music again is standout love usage on that blushing panel for Momo & the flashback between TF & Okarun in terms of figuring out the best way for Okarun to deal with Evil Eye.

Breh, people are gonna be PISSED when this season ends with Vamola kissing Okarun :mjlol:
I have heard people say that. That is still so much better than how they ended S1. That ending had me (having already read the manga.) Come one man :unimpressed:

At least with that is fukkery I would cosign on :blessed:.

They better at least announce S3 at the very least, though at the end of the season.

Their A-team is working on Ghost in the Shell next, but they have no excuse not to announce that.

Yeah, the ending for cour 1 made no cotdamn sense :bryan:

My guess for next season is Winter 2027 for cour 1, at the earliest. No question they'll announce it ASAP, show is too popular not to.

Did notice for GitS that the assistant director of S1, is the director of that and was not part of S2 Also, the chief animation director is Shuuhei Handa who hasn't worked on anything since Dungeon Meshi. It seems he is one of the Gainax guys who came to Trigger. Though if he got involved with S3 that would be beyond amazing.

I guess it ultimately depends on how much of the staff of Dandadan works on GitS, which is hard to say.

For sure, I don't doubt they'd want to do it similarly to what Bones did with MHA with a new season 12-18 months, but I highly doubt they can do 25 episodes in one go. They'll probably need 3-6 months in between with separate cours like they did with this first season.

They definitely want to split the next arc like they divided S1+S2. Tbh, MHA's schedule adapting the manga isn't bad since they will be adapting 1 cour instead of 2 cours like MHA. The real issue of MHA is how they kept adding anime-original movies while adapting the manga in 2 cours per season. Actually, it's amazing Bones maintained itself through all of that.

They gave Kinta a ton to introduce his character, adding that "he was always there" montage :russ:

I think they slowed things down this ep so they can finish the season with either Vamola kissing Okarun or the kiss aftermath + the Globalists confronting the Serpo's.
