the only excuse I can come up with is that all wrestlers who had a match(on the actual ppv) didnt wrestle in the rumble, which is dumb because wrestlers have pulled double duty in every rumble I can recall.

Daniel Bryan held the WWE title for total of about 20 hours, i dont see how that is him being given a chance to "be the man"
It didn't fail...Orton and Cripple H were the top players. Bryan wasn't booked to be unstoppable like Cena and Batista were when they won the belts. Cena didn't lose on television. .didn't get beat down...any of that shyt. Batista went over Levesque 3 PPVS str8..get the fukk outta here with trying to compare that to Bryan. Because DBry's fans arent the only ones that matter. There are millions of other fans that arent feeling Dbry like that, which was reflected in the ratings drop with him as a babyface centerpiece of the show.
Remember also that the contract for Raw is up, and they are shopping for a new network deal. They cant afford to placate a loud minority of smarks, and potentially lose tens of millions of dollars, if ratings arent up to par when they hit the negotiation table. We're talking about serious money here.
Now is just not the time for DBry. I wish his fans would try to be reasonable here.

Acting like Bryan is only over with a "loud minority of smarks" is fukking RETARDED bruh. He is the most popular wrestler in every single arena they travel to. This is not like the CM Punk thing in 2011.. EVERYONE likes D-Bry. Men, women, children, homosexuals.
Well the Raw rating was 2.5 with Punk on top...Bryan out drew Punk vs Ryback HIAC....Cena hasn't got any sizable PPV returns except when he piggybacks off a Rock show. So all of that is semantics and bullshyt.
The "yes" chants dont mean sht for the bottom line...its like the "what" chants back in the day. Its just something the fans like doing, but there isnt much substance behind it. Had "fans" responded to DBry's push last summer with ratings even holding, much less dropping significantly, then you would have a great argument for revolving the show around him consistently.
