They may not care about me but I care about them just as you should. It's never a waste of time to speak up for a disadvantaged people on any forum whether in person or on the internet.. I have Native American blood on both sides of my family, and refuse to accept the term Redskin as a genuine reference for my ancestors.

If most of the population wasn't wiped out through conquests and disease then it would be much more effective. Try changing the status quo as a one percentile group of the nations population.

So they expect the people responsible for putting them in that situation to all of a sudden start caring about how they feel about a billion dollar team's name? Even the white liberals aren't doing that much about it.

It takes time for a people (white) to get over their own ignorance. As a black man who understands the history of racism you should know that. It's people who share your mentality that are getting in the way of progress in eliminating the redskins name from the NFL.. The change won't happen unless people collectively come together to pressure snyder to change the name. Native American's can't do it by themselves, they need millions of people of all races to support this move.

So white folks didn't assist as abolitionist and aid in the civil rights movement? Stop generalizing people according to race. Like I said the Native American's at the forefront of this movement need the help from all races of people to make this name change happen.
