I can answer this one.

The misconception that people have is that every team out here can or wants to a sign and trade. It’s not that easy to pull off as 1. The player has to agree to it and 2. The new team has to have something of use that the original team would want in return.

Why would Kyrie sacrifice assets that could help in Brooklyn just to help out Boston? Especially with the obvious disdain that he has towards them and the fans.
