Salute to the breh for even going there. It's obviously a trap. Those same women talking about how "toxic masculinity" is harmful to everyone and that BM need to open up about their issues/traumas etc will shut those same BM down as soon as they do open up and show that shyt goes both ways.

I just seen parts of the whole show. How breh kept his cool with this one sided “mediating” is beyond me.

This is like the United Kingdom pointing at America and saying “you guys were the worst for how you treated black people.” And América saying “:why:You traded Africans to us. You were just as complicit. Don’t act high and mighty because you eventually abolished slavery.”

It’s the same with these birds. Are we really gonna act like the 80s wasn’t the era of Prince and El Debarge? Being light skinned with wavy hair was what was in whether you were a black male or black female.

It took Wesley Snipes taking out that “pretty motherfukker” to bring us into style. And even then, colorism is still rife. These women can’t have an honest discussion about colorism, weave or the shytty women in our community. Zero accountability.

This is why you can’t have an honest nuanced discussion and why we’ll make little no progress socially, let alone economically.

You have to understand the colorism Is just another desirability politic topic that’s it.

These woman are angry that dark skin woman are seen as less desirable compared to dark skin men that’s why they dismiss him.

It all comes from a sense of insecurity and low self esteem wanting to be seen as the victim who does no wrong.

It’s why colorism will never be taken seriously cause everyone knows what it’s really about.

I honestly never had issues with black women because I'm dark. Been clowned for corny lines and shyt like that but haven't experienced as much colorism.

I'm not saying it doesn't exist...just haven't personally dealt with it as much from American born sistas. Of course I usually approached dark-skinned, big titty, short sistas and they appreciated my ghetto nerd swag :russ:.

If you ever wondered why a lot of black women's complaints about colorism fall upon dead ears this is why.

The truth is that a lot black women are just as color struck as black men.

A person got to be an absolute idiot no matter Male or Female. To acknowledge that dark skin woman have color biases thrown at them. Then deny those same color biases aren't thrown at dark skin men.

Only time I ever remember people being honest about the societal color biases towards black men was when Obama became president. Then whether white or black people admitted in unison that if he was dark skin he would have never been elected president.
