Someone change the thread title. 
Wow. No guaranteed money in football. Do you guys think this will affect the way he plays? More so, will he be more worried about making it through the year instead of going hard on the field.
If he were to not go 100% and his play dropped they could just cut him. He'll play hard because he's basically playing for his contract every year, whether for the Bucs or for audition to another team if the Bucs ever decided to cut him at any point.

We're gonna back up the Brinks truck for Brian Cushing? Darren McFadden? who are these guys they need to overpay? The Jets have to get this done through the draft, and the problem is that Jets can't trust this organization to get it right when they haven't done so in so long.

They'll use the cap space to sign quality players that arent going to strap the cap at one position.
Ultimately they need to find a qb (duh) and if they find skill guys that put points on the board or a pass rusher then you can give them a nice pay day.
Revis was a unique player for a few reasons...one he was really awesome and two...he wanted to be paid like an elite Qb every season from a position that doesnt have nearly the same impact

Hope and faith? Breh, we're Jets fans. Hope and faith don't exist in this world. DMX will be clean and going to sporting events with his son before this team finally figures it out completely. It's on Idzik to prove me wrong, but this team hasn't earned that benefit of the doubt.
