This simply isn't true overall according to every piece of data we have about women's dating preferences and habits. You can point to an outlier example of a few guys but the vast majority of 53 year old men in this country cannot bag a significantly younger woman if they aren't rich; I'm not talking about "works at the Ford plant and has health benefits" stability, I'm talking about RICH. There's this weird idea that age doesn't matter for men, that we're gonna be on top of the mountain forever and can do whatever we want (whereas women must be married before 30). It's not true. If you are 53 you're going to lose every time in a competition with a 35-40 year old man who has as much stability, is younger, and could start a family. Women aren't thinking of 53 year old men as potential partners or fathers to children. And if it's about money they can find someone younger/more attractive with money.
