If there is one, he's the one. Boogie came out the city popping organically he was crowned by the city before he signed a deal he wasn't some label creation. He came up with the mixtapes just like a lot of the NY guys of the 00's.

Artist and Highbridge the Label Vol. 1 took over the city. In that time in 2016 every whip uptown was bumping A-Boogie shyt. I made the first thread on here about him and nikkas hated and doubted.

He has two Platinum albums now and about two handfuls of RIAA certified singles. He is probably one of the 5 hottest features in hip-hop at the moment. He has opened up a new lane and influenced others. He's someone the bytches like and the young nikkas wanna be like. He can't be the king apparently because of his skillset meanwhile these cats don't realize the game has changed and Boogie actually has an elite skillset for what the modern hip-hop consumer wants.

He's done all this in 3 years and is only 23. He's done this off strictly music as he generally stays away from controversy and is private about his personal life. He's only getting bigger.

There will never be rappers like Nas, Jay, B.I.G. and 'em ever again. So I guess there will never be a KoNY again.

I disagree. Joey is as creative and is as skilled as him in a vacuum. I would even say Joey is even more lyrical than Kendrick and was writing shyt at 16 that Kendrick has never come up with.

His pen was different. It's different types of writers. 50 told his story in his way. It's things 50 did better than a lot of rappers. 50 Cent was not average at all. He knew how to tell stories, he knew how to say hard shyt and hit you with them harsh realities, he had mic presence and authenticity, he had a dope flow and voice, he knew how to write hooks, he understood melody.

50 was a real king, it's almost no year you could point to that Jay and Nas had it on lock dolo they always had competition.

50 had a run that can't be denied. Now a good majority of that was being backed by the machine of interscope and that underdog story that he had. But most of that shyt was hype man. But he wasn't better than Nas and Jay even at his highest. You can argue he was more popular. shyt you can argue that Hammer was king of hip hop by that criteria.
