Dave East my top 3 rappers of this generation alongside Gibbs and Nipsey

I find his lyrics too damn relatable. nikkas saying he toned down lyrically not listening clearly.

He's shown a lot of growth on here. He does mention Patek too much though

It's the "in" watch in rap now :pachaha:

From Rollie, to Audemars, to Hublot, to Patek :snoop:

Because a freestyle is written, period. :heh:

You're wrong. Everyone in the 90's was spitting writtens.

Do you really think the brain can compute 16's full of wordplay and multisyllable lyrics on the spot?

Are you saying you know more about freestyle and what entails one than BIG DADDY KANE.

:laff:
Seriously, if you listen to Big L freestyles you'll hear a TON of lines from Lifestyles Ov Da Poor & Dangerous for example. Hell, Mobb deep went on Stretch & Bobbito and spit the entire Trife Life song bar for bar over different beats :mjlol:. KRS-One broke it down on one of those QD3 docs a while back. Use a lot of interchangeable verbs and generic lines you can switch up with little thought to recycle writtens.

But anyway, this tape is meh. Too much trap shyt.

I think East will fill that Jadakiss/Fabolous role for the new generation. He doesn't have that conscious mainstream appeal that Kendrick/Cole did and that's not a bad thing at all.

The media run been all internet shows. He hasn't done any radio shows or TV. Its just his internet that's been buzzing, all organic.
He hasn't done any radio or TV because nobody outside of NY is checking for him.

Simple shyt

Was Fab mainstream in his prime? Big Sean is really popular with the new generation and has many hits.
