this team has had the same weakness for 5 years now and every year they try to address it by added washed vets :flabbynsick: barnes carter arenas iverson. meanwhile marcus thornton out there getting scooped up for the min :sas2:

chris wallace shouldve been fired long ago, he pretty much lucked into the grit/grind formula. shouldve received the :camby:just for missing out on harden. how many fukking PF's did they need to draft. couldve taken a chance on a guy like rj hunter instead

The Celtics make a lot of sense for him. but teams are retarded and refuse to accept their fate even when the writing is on the wall.

Either they lose Conley, Lee & Green in the offseason or they keep them, both situations don't help them out. They aren't going to sign anyone to come play for them so pulling the plug right now and auctioning off their players for picks & young talent would be the best decision. They already have season ticket holders money so bottoming out this season and getting into top 5 range is still possible.

if we had the pick...

They should but we know how stubborn teams can be.

Hit up the Wolves, Conley for Rubio & Shabazz :mjpls:

I think its cause if you do that, you're pretty much telling your fanbase you're mailing it in vs even trying to make a playoff push (:whoa: yes I know its :duck:). That's the only way I could see them justifying this.

If they would've shipped Zbo and Allen two years ago I think they would've at least be in a better position, that would've helped with floor spacing, but I dunno. They've just fukked themselves. :heh:

That's true but they're delaying the inevitable, they're gonna be in the lottery next year more than likely.

I don't think they'd trade Gasol unless they decided to bottom out you don't think there is a way they could maybe move a few pieces and retool

The best this squad can be is a treadmill team. They're picks are protected for a few years and next year's draft is projected to be great, might as well empty the clip.

Courtney Lee to the Bulls for Moore; Hinrich, Bairstow, and Chicago's 2016 1at rounder
NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Conley to Indy for George Hill and Indy's 2016 1st rounder

Jeff Green to Detroit for Tolliver; Meeks, and Detroit's 2016 1st rounder(lotto protected)

Then in offseason get Boston and the Knicks in a bidding war for Gasol. Sure if Memphis does these moves, they'll probably end up giving Denver a 1st rounder in 2016(their pick is protected for selections 1-5 and 15-30), however they'll be in prime position to get Josh Jackson next year.

FO is to blame, Joerger is not a bad coach at all. If they gave him a roster that he could actually work with, we would be seeing different results. They need to embrace the way the game is being played right now. Been noticing these small ball teams are really giving them a hard time. There was smoke coming from the dumpster last season and now it's on fire.

Trade deadline is gonna be interesting.

Should've never traded rude bwoy or oj . tried to get cute and never got replacements at at least their level.

Outside of that NO star FA will ever come to Memphis unless he's born there...even then ..nah I can't see it. What the hell are you gonna do with 100 mil in Memphis ? Bass pro shop ? Gasol said he loves to garden :francis:

If the grizz don't play this right it could be devastating. They didn't know zbo and Tony would become unofficial ambassadors to the city but still should've let those guys go two years ago.:yeshrug:
