And who is avoiding common RB sense?

David isn't asked to pass protect as much....DUH!! he's not as versed at it as Zeke who is asked to do so regularly.

I don't get the point. I don't need lessons on what a RB is supposed to do. I have a bad back from a pass protecting play at practice. You're not teaching.
Breh my point is Zeke is better than DJ in that facet of the game. That's not debatable. My point When he IS asked to block, he isnt as good as Zeke.

As far as pass-catching, theres no evidence to support that Leveon or DJ are superior than Zeke. They are just used more in the passing game.

This is just my opinion, but when cats start bringing up lining David or Bell up at WR, you're leaving the best running back conversation and entering the all around football player conversation. It's like me giving Ty Montgomery points over another WR because he lines up as a RB too. Zeke can catch the ball out of the backfield as well as either of those 2, he just doesn't line up exclusively as a WR.

@NYC Rebel what's your opinion on that, is this fair?
I feel you because although AD didn't split out wide or caught many passes,I felt he was the best runner in the league. Thing is, he was
making runs only he could make. I don't think Zeke does things DJ can't do, which is the difference.

I'm super protective over good runners. So I'm a huge fan of Zeke. He's a smart runner. We don't have many today

You're trying to somehow penalize him as a RB because he catches the football.

Last I checked catching the ball is part of a RB's job.

No I'm not "penalizing" him. I'm evaluating RB's on the primary function of the RB. Catching the ball out of the backfield is an element of playing RB. Lining up specifically at WR imo is not an element of playing RB.

It is in today's NFL. Which is why I'd take Cook or Samuels over Fournette.

I was born 20 years too early. :to:

Still no legit argument for why a multi-dimensional threat who leads the league in yardage is worse than Ezekiel Elliot.

B-b-b-but Elliot is a good blocker :damn:

You morons realize that pass-catching ability is an infinitely more valuable asset, right?

What is it with you Cowboys fans?
Seriously?

Are you guys fukkin retarded?
77 catches for 841 yards. That's what David Johnson has done.

I don't give a fukk if Zeke CAN CATCH.
We're going by PRODUCTION.

David Johnson CAN run for 1,631 yards just like Zeke can.
Do you think Zeke will EVER have 841 receiving yards in a season?

Let me answer that for you: No. He won't.

Look at you, all emotional. Matt Forte was catching 100 passes a year in his prime, but no one in their right mind would say he was better than AP. He wasnt even better than Shady. Fukk outta here :mjlol:

I think @NYC Rebel noted earlier that AP was on a different level. Even though to be fair to Forte...he was under-appreciated.

Are you serious :mindblown:

I dont care where you played homie, I am talking common sense.

Straight from the General manager. Now go find a part of Elliotts game that Cowboys coaches are calling him out on :camby:
Dude straight downplaying the importance of a rb staying in to block when Carson palmer is the 3rd most sacked qb in the league and Dak is at the bottom of the league in sacks. Just stupidity

If Ty Montgomery was as dominant as AB, Julio and Odell AND could run between the tackles as an RB then yeah I'd say he's better.

The point that everybody is trying to make is that DJ and Bell do everything that Zeke can do while also providing those advantages.
