That's the thing that's insane to me. You know who else is a product of the Disney pipeline...Olivia Rodrigo. Not every former Disney kid becomes a massive star but there's a pretty clear blueprint for how you do it. And it does NOT include getting pregnant in your early 20s. She basically set fire to whatever plan may have been in place to salvage her career for no reason.

It's pretty wild how terrible nearly every black woman artist is handling their career long term. For every SZA there are like ten who are stuck making the same regressive videos, making the same repetitive music, and constantly being fed bad moves by labels or managers who must hate them. Meanwhile it's like somebody hit a switch and the white girl pop superstar wave (Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, etc) was restarted.

Most of these parents aren’t giving their kids the real advice. They’re not telling them that if they get involved with these types of dudes they’re most likely going to become single mothers.

A lot of the parents from the previous generation definitely didn't give good advice. They would say no but don't provide context.
