Part of the reason why this blew up is because folks in ATL have been saying for years that the restaurants are trash and need to tighten up. The customers in ATL are tired of the same 'Ole brunch menus, the same 'Ole shytty customer service, the same 'Ole 1.5-2 hour wait times and they're sick of it. Keith Lee shined a bright light on an issue that has been ongoing for a long time.

If the restaurants were smart, instead of laying threats they would make change, apologize to Keith for his experience, and invite him and his family back for a second visit. shyt, if they were really smart they would've done so while he was still in Atlanta and gotten the blessing. Instead, we have owners making TikToks talking shyt and sending threats. Let's revisit in a year and see if they're still standing.

Simply put...

If I watch his tiktoks and he says a place has good catfish, but neglects to say that the wait is 1.5 hours, the waitress will only come around once, they are out of 4/6 side items on the menu all the time, the food takes 45 minites, and they add a 20% gratuity automatically... I'd never watch him again because I can't trust his opinion on shyt.

Highlighting the positives and hiding the negatives will lead people to feeling duped when they go to restaurant. Thus, killing his credibility.

These businesses ASK and BEG him to come to their restaurants to be reviewed. He makes it clear he’s gonna be honest. They want all the perks of a possible good review but if he doesn’t have a good experience then it’s fukk him n they’re not changing a thing. He just exposing the reality of how subpar the customer service was. His negative reviews ain’t even that negative due to how he conducts himself as a strong man of God. It’s when the responses are dumb like they did, actin like they didn’t know who Keith Lee was (when again he was ASKED to come there and only was gonna serve him when they found out he was there vs his family getting the cold shoulder, bypassing other customers who were waiting)
