Because a case could be made that he's secretly being paid off for his positive reviews
Then just be transparent that for your safety you're giving criticism privately and if the businesses want to speak about it, theurr free to do so. The public just wants to talk shyt anyway

These businesses ASK and BEG him to come to their restaurants to be reviewed. He makes it clear he’s gonna be honest. They want all the perks of a possible good review but if he doesn’t have a good experience then it’s fukk him n they’re not changing a thing. He just exposing the reality of how subpar the customer service was. His negative reviews ain’t even that negative due to how he conducts himself as a strong man of God. It’s when the responses are dumb like they did, actin like they didn’t know who Keith Lee was (when again he was ASKED to come there and only was gonna serve him when they found out he was there vs his family getting the cold shoulder, bypassing other customers who were waiting)
Well I just proposed a new.way to switch the format. Expose the hidden gems and let sleeping dogs lie in secrecy

Keith didn’t discover something new. He is simply someone with a massive platform who is echoing the sentiments of many. Thats why this shyt when viral because too many restaurants are on some bullshyt.

I don’t even know what the fukk some of you are talking about saying that service culture doesn’t matter. :why:

Lol. One thing I always appreciated in America was excellent service. If that is gone now or doesn't exist in Atlanta, the food would have to be next level for me to go to a restaurant.

Online reviews can be fudged, and...trust...the owners already know their limitations and issues.

But...when you have a huge following on social media and could massively alter a business' profits by a single TikTok...there has to be more deliberate thought on cause and effect.

I vet you will have Black folks cheering if these restaurants go out of business...then complain that they have no Black businesses.

It's insane.

So you saying that black customers HAVE TO accept bad service from a black owned restaurant and it cannot be changed, because it is a CULTURAL value??? :jbhmm:

This is all clout chasing, virtue signaling bullshyt that has nothing to do with helping the restaurants service improve.

It's allowing frustrated people to browbeat Black businesses to make themselves feel better.

The restaurants are making food and serving.

People are buying the food despite the service culture.

They wouldn't be in business if they weren't.

Just don't spend a dime there... stop shytting on Black businesses when they are trying to make a living.

Give the negative feedback privately. Putting the business on blast is obviously creating an undesired reaction. The potential for violence.

Less be real. You have a sub section of nikkas that want to hear the shytty reviews for laughs and antagonization and if the owner gets buck about it a pull up will be prescribed.

You have folks who have scraped together their last dime for their last shot at prosperity and a bad review can send them to the poor house. We aren't white. Bounce g back isn't easy.

Private negative reviews so they can work on their issues, or not.

If you spent your last dime on opening a business, you BEST BELIEVE that you gotta work in on your customer service skills. That would be the core fundamentals to work on vigilantly. If not, you just wasted your money and have no incentive to change for the better. People who are stubborn, are bound to fail one way or the other.

And it just goes to show how little respect they have for our, the consumer's money. Instead of saying "ok, u got me. Let us take this opportunity to apologize to our loyal customers and improve", they trying to silence valid criticism we the consumer have a right to know.

Its just a sad common theme these days, folks put more energy into cheating, sabotage and neutralizing the competition than into improving their own product. Sad state of affairs all around.

Cause these owners are people that want fast money and hate the hard process of DISCIPLINE and HUMILITY. Like someone said, they operating like drug dealers, thinking they do anything they want.

This is the era we are in, where a random person with a Tik Tok account can say something about a restaurant, and all of a sudden what they say is law? In the service industry there are good reviews and bad reviews. That will ALWAYS happen no matter how good the service is. Hyping up the bad reviews is the purest from of clout chasing for views

Another example of people ready to discard Small Businesses for anything. You want to shut down a Small Business because of a couple bad reviews? Typical of Fake Militant babble that indirectly makes big Corporations more powerful. When Covid happened, and majority of Small Businesses had to shut down... what happened? Billionaires and Billion Dollar Companies tripled their net worth. But what I'm saying is boot-licking. The IRONY :wow:

You always been a corporate bootlicker, as well as a bootlicker for corruption in general. You accept terrible customer service and refuse to change with the times. The age of Retribution against corruption is here. Get used to these things from here on out. :yeshrug:

This thread is amazing. For years food critics from newspapers have been visiting restaurants and their opinions have had the power to make or break a business.

It's just shifted to a digital phase now.

Never seen a review where Lee was nasty or spiteful. He always gives an honest review.

If a restaurant has loyal customers they won't stop coming. If people stop coming, maybe your food wasn't as good as you thought and people decided to exercise their options.

If you feel you need to send death threats, you are mentally ill.

Or like you said, he has to change the way he does things. It's not fair but it's reality based on what has already happened. I don't think he should be receiving threats over a damn review, but you can't control how people will think and react. To the restaurant owners he isn't a Gordon Ramsay, but a breh with a platform trying to fukk up their money.
