i see what yall saying but really they been doing it a very long time, and have given us a whole lotta music through the years, cant really be mad it sounds different. especially since the whol RBG shyt has grown so much, they got the Outlawz shyt, the Zayd Malik shyt, theres plenty of shyt out there in that lane growing from what dead prez put down

I do not understand Dead Prez's problem with their beats -- HOW DO YOU COME OUT WITH ONE OF THE MOST BANGING HARD BASS RATTLING DOWN SOUTH CRUNK TYPE BEATS ("Bigger Than Hiphop") have wild success with it, & then NEVER revisit that style ever again.

they said "crunk" on that song before damn near anybody else was using the term, & then have basically pretended to be from NY ever since. I was confused then, but I'm even more confused NOW -- they REALLY do NOT need these new euro/pop beats -- they just need to pick some hard ass extra gutta downsouth type anthem shyt & kick knowledge over those.

their last mixtape or so..the one before the exercise project was nice..what was that called??

Cuban link and seis told me a time when DP and Pun/TS were chilling..think it was at some Loud event or studio session? Pun was giving them advice and gave them praise for their concepts and political message. Pun even had an idea that obviously never surfaced, a ts/dead prez album with a black/latino political frame/direction. It was Pun's idea and wanted it but they had like 10 projects planned already..

Intro is better than most dudes albums these days. Whole album was like watching a deep intricate movie. Propaganda joint still runs a chill down my spine. Psychology joint used that eerie diamonds sample better than kanye. Even the instrumental track goes hard. Even if u werent on revolution tip u had to respect the hip hop skills displayed. Classic shyt.

Hate to be the one to tell y'all but this ain't ya average DP release. The content is there, but these beats...gotdamn, it ain't them. I guess they were going for mainstream appeal. A lotta y'all gone trip the fvckout when you hear this sh1t...

:sadcam:

I bought this yesterday morning and off the beats alone it's easily their weakest album. I don't think they were going for mainstream appeal because obviously there's no way that would happen considering their content. When I started seeing the album described as "futuristic" I knew shyt was probably gonna be :beli:. The last track on the album sounds more like your typical DP track, my favorite on here is What If The Lights Go Out.

Only thing I wanna know is the album worth downloading?

If you're a fan it's worth checking out. You will probably be letdown though if you're looking for the quality of their other two albums and mixtapes though.
