the basis of your argument was cost don't backtrack now... we pay less and it costs less for health care north of the border. there's no out of network and no denial of coverage. you are caping for a broken system. make a case for why an increase in population would be a detriment to the system. If that is your only argument then limit coverage to those who pay taxes just like people have been getting insurance via employers... not much changes. :manny:

that some typical cac shyt fearing you will have to provide for somebody else :laff:

it's your own people going thru the struggle and opiate crisis right now. and they still getting free care on the government via your dollars.
breh the facts are that you cannot just say "take canadas system and apply it to america even though america has 9 times the population" :dead: that is retarded

and the people at the southern border coming here with the clothes on their backs are not a benefit to the healthcare system overall. just like they wouldnt be for yours :what:

On another note this is a private hospital.
This private hospital has the lowest recorded number of complications, infections and recurrences of hernias in the world.

Does this show how the private sector works?
Rand chose this place is pro-privatizing lol

It shows there is still a market for specialized private care in the UHC market.

I admit, he did a terrible job of explaining the consequences of ‘declaring’ that healthcare is a right.
Rand(a physician himself) is drawing the proper implication. If healthcare is a right, then no doctor has a right to refuse treatment... ever... and the right to another’s labor can be stretched(not far mind you) to include and be a form of slavery.

As usual though ultra extreme rhetoric is easily dismantled to the common man. Rand should know ultra harsh rhetoric doesn't help and hurts the overall strength of your position when your on the right...
:snoop:

So the 6th amendment is a form of slavery?:ohhh::usure:

So.......
What is interesting here is that this story REALLY REALLY has been picked up and gone super viral.
And when I say this story, I mean the narrative that is being sold.

What I find both funny and pathetic is the magnitude of anger and frustration in the left regarding this story and how everyone calls him a hypocrite for it.
Why is that funny and pathetic?
Because I rarely see this many people angry about actual corruption. People call me a purist when I say don't vote for him or her because they are corrupt but this is not even corruption, this is the expectation of purism on purely a ideological level.
This is not corruption, this is just political ideology, and people are so very angered because of this????

This is a distracted country man, it is just partisanship, it's not even fighting for good vs evil, it's just nonsense.

"Do you have a right to water, to food" :picard: Well I would certainly hope so, fukking psychotic ass politic man. Unless you're advocating that people starving to death is a perfectly normal thing that we should just brush aside despite throwing away enough food every day to feed everybody in the country 3x over.

Once again private hospitals in so called 'socialists' countries are a lot better than the US ones, partly because they actually have to entice people away form the public ones. Having no public health care in many ways is detrimental to the quality of private healthcare in the US.

Whatever regulations are keeping a state like California, which has a bigger and more robust economy than nearly all of the single payer nations or NY from implementing their own care, need to removed or worked around.

This is a perfect situation for state Petri dishing...

They send their taxes to the federal government and those funds are then distributed to help poor underperforming conservative states and the military.

Redistribution at its finest :ehh:

They(California legislators) need to push for a federal waiver in order to implement their single payer plan. No dem controlled congress will grant it. Trump is dumb enough to.
With it will come a 15% income tax increase on top earners and a 2.3% sales tax increase.

I want to see how the market responds.
