If I'm Disney, I'm calling ESPN and telling them to make SAS take down this tweet with the quickness. News reporters don't even promote these type of tweets when networks and cable companies beef and sports one shouldn't start either.
He’s trying to save an already dying industry. Spectrum cutting espn is undoubtedly hurting ESPN. The ratings numbers were not greet before this and this beef is definitely not helping. Disney and Spectrum need to get their shyt together because they’re going to both end up losing in this.. Pirate gang is out here.

So from what I read, Disney wants about another $1,50/month/subscriber from Spectrum. Spectrum has about 14.7 million subscribers. This would bring in another $22 million/month to Disney.

In return, Spectrum is wanting either:
-the option for each sub to be able to opt out of having any of the Disney channels, and have a lower monthly rate, or
-for all subs to have ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu thrown in

Disney of course said no to both options, so here we are. I am on Spectrum's side in this situation.

What would everyone do in this situation?

You think people care? They just want their feel good…even it means they’re getting their pockets raped.

Disney is going to say no to both options as they want the revenue coming in long enough until they can cut out Spectrum altogether and keep all the revenue for themselves.

The Spectrum option sounds better in theory but as I’ve mentioned before, it’s only a matter of time before those streaming companies start finding a way to lock in customers long term a la cable.
