I'm a little over half way through Death Stranding 2, and Expedition 33 is still the clear GOTY to me.

I just finished Death Stranding 2 story.

Too many fukkery and mindblowns had me left me many feelings coli smiley emotions moments like

I thought the ending was brilliant and emotional.

10 out of 10

My game of the year so far.

To understand it? Yes. Definitely.
To enjoy it, maybe not, but if you didn't like the first one, this one isn't likely to make you a believer.
There's a lot more unlocked early on in part 2 that you didn't get until the end of part 1, but still, the gameplay loop is the same albeit with significantly more opportunities to run around shooting enemies.

Just got to the part where Higgs ambushes Sam and whips out the guitar for the first time.
Holy crap that whole scene was peak Kojima cinema.
(And the references to Metal Gear Solid continue to get thrown right in your face which I'm 100% here for)
