Question - are these real players that are building bridges and leaving ladders in my game? :dwillhuh: and leaving likes? Is it just random if so because these names don’t look familiar.
Yes

I didn't really pay much attention to it but everybody is supposed to be on the same network or something

People leave behind ladders, zip lines, etc. and you can use them too

well it’s nice to know he knows what sucks about ds.
For better or worse, I don't think I did a single delivery on foot in DS2.
As far as part one, what made me take a break from the game was the sections where you had to make deliveries through BT territory.
For the majority of gamers, walking slowly, directly through a powerful enemy's territory is counter intuitive, but once you realize that that's exactly what you have to do, the game becomes way more enjoyable, and the world makes more sense.
I made the mistake of trying to outrun BTs- instead, the game wants you to be crippled in fear by them. You're supposed to inch forward holding your breath every few steps. Once that clicked, the entire theme of the world become addictive to me and I felt like I had to see the story all the way through.
I still stand by the thought that the game really isn't for everyone and I don't get upset if someone thinks the game sucks because I understand the criticism, but this game is one of those ones that I do wish people approached with an open mind and allowed themselves to get engrossed in the story and environment because the pay off of part 2 is one of the best in gaming.

Jeez there’s a cutscene for everything.

I’m getting the same feelings i did with RDR2.

I can appreciate the production for what it is but, damn i’m tired of watching shyt. I jus wanna play the game :why:

I had to drop this game recently. Deliveries felt like a chore once the novelty wore off. It's a well made game, though.

So yeah. I enjoy the Delivery man gameplay.

The combat stuff is wack tho,

The story is retarded.

Almost finished with it now

Hard game to rate. It’s unique and the core gameplay loop is dope.

But i just want it to end at this point.

Get through. Part 2 is amazing. If someone doesn't like the first one and doesn't finish it, I understand.
Anybody that can get through part 1, even if it felt like a chore to finish, I can almost guarantee they'll love part 2.
The story has one of the best pay offs I've experienced in any game in a very long time. Kojima still introduces some more Kojima nonsense, but for the most part, everything makes way more sense and is much easier to follow, which is a major benefit in really setting up how despicable the antagonist in part 2 is. If it wasn't for Expedition 33, I would have been making the argument that Death Stranding 2 was the game of the year.

I’m already in for 2.

I’ve enjoyed this.

The kojima weirdness goes both ways. It’s endearing and very compelling but it’s also kinda corny and annoying.

We don’t need a cutscene for everytime sam farts :beli:

All in all i’m glad i came back to this game and i look forward to playing part 2 :ehh:

The forced combat sections/boss fights are just bad tho. Game clearly wasn’t made for that stuff and it seems they just threw it in to check boxes. I woulda been cool with very little to no combat in the game.

I played thought the entire game on hard but switched to very easy for those parts because they are just no fun:smh:

Part 2 is much more combat heavy and it works really well for the pace of the story. Everything really clicks in part 2. The story, the delivery, the combat, it all shines and makes for an excellent game. Id be disappointed if you ended up not liking the game at this point
