THIS!! You would be a fool to join with a degree and not be an officer.

My cousin graduated from the Air Force academy last year and is an officer now. Funny thing is he flunked out of ECU as a freshman and ended up going from the Air Force prep school to the academy. :patrice:He played the game right
:duck::duck:How was he even able to get into the air force Academy if he flunked out of his first college. The academy checks all your grades.

- he flunked out of ECU
- ENLISTED into the air force
- entered some lottery type thing (I don't know much about the military) and was able to go to the Air Force Prep School (you didn't read that part huh you illiterate c*nt)

- Did 2 years there and was able to transfer over to the academy
-Graduated last year from the academy and is an officer WITH a degree from the AF academy :scusthov:

If you don't have privacy concerns, get an intelligence job and get high level clearance. The amount of jobs you can get with an intelligence background is crazy. I worked as a contractor for the Office of Naval research for 3 years. Intelligence work is so sought after. Got out of that job because I couldn't get high enough clearance to take it to the next level (psychological reasons :mjcry:), but if I had that clearance we're talking 100k+ jobs at Beltway Bandit firms (Booz Allen, etc.). Intelligence is so much in demand, it's crazy.

You might hate yourself for spying on people though :francis:

I wasn't interested in it then, but yeah, joining the military right out of HS would have probably been a much better option than squandering 5 years of my life and thousands of dollars on college.
Not true!

I was in the military for 10 years...

Thr experience you got from college is going to take you VERY far in the military... U'll see

Are you going the enlisted or officer route?

I'm sure it's been said throughout here, but do NOT go enlisted. And do all types of research on the different branches and what they have to offer as far as student loan debt and any other expenses before you choose. I am biased towards the Air Force though, since I was in it.

Glad you're able to see the truth behind it. Get to know your people, and don't think you're better than them because of your rank. You earn more respect that way as well as loyal employees. Good luck!
