Go to college and not network brehs.

This nikka went trough college without doing a single internship. :laff:
That is a terrible mistake to make. If your college won't give you a field placement you find one yourself. That way you won't have to play GI Joe.

Advice: Air Force. Look for programs in beautiful countries, and consider grad school.
NASA loves STEM w/ military experience, especially if you can pilot.
You should be able to walk into a six-figure job once you graduate, trust me.
If you're an engineer USPHS has spots as well, that you can easily lateral into a high paying job without ever having to leave the country.
almost did the Air Force after half of my sophomore year in college because I just wasn't diggin' it, and it was for many of these reasons.

glad i didn't do it, really...because of how my life is now over a decade later. so, absolutely no regrets...but i heavily considered it.

I've hand incredibly bad luck when it comes to finding jobs. Dozens and dozens of job applications spammed to every low-level position in existence- and nothing. The military isn't something I'm necessarily over-excited about, but the fact is that I got student loans to pay off. I need money, and a place to stay. The very, very, very last thing I want to do is to move in back home.

What would you guys suggest for someone who is 32 and is interested. I have a master's (non stem), have a good job, and in great shape. Because of my job I'm only looking at the reserve route. I know each branch has an age cutoff in general, and I've probably missed the age cutoff for officer in all branches. I'm mainly interested in the benefits, and never know when military training will come in handy. Any suggestions?
See if you are eligible for your state's air national guard or army national guard.

You could get waived in but definitely go officer.

If you're willing to take orders from younger dudes then go for it...

BUT respect is given by how you carry yourself and know your work/shyt. If you know your shyt no one can say anything to you... Sometimes not even the CO depending on how important your job is
