play it smart. use that VA loan, you can use it an unlimited amount of times. acquire some rental properties. take advantage of all your benefits. make sure u get an MOS that can translate to a high paying civilian job. if your smart you will retire very well offSo I graduate from college in May, and I've made the decision to join the military afterwards. I've done some research, and that seems like the best option for me. The number one thing I want to be able to do is financially support myself so I can move away from my father (I can't tolerate that man, and vice versa). The military is a guaranteed paycheck and a place to stay, plus some pretty nice benefits and job training, and you get to play with some badass toys. There are downsides to being in the military of course, but overall I can't see any option better than the military right now.
When you join the military the cacs own you.As long as u don't buy into that cac bsand still burn their flag, you're good...![]()

i was under the impression he wasntnot if he's going in as an officer...
Air Force is closest to corporate America on most normal jobs except maintenance jobs and security forces. Not quite as sensitive as corporate but it is the most "progressive" and family friendly branch in that sense. The Air Force sounds appealing, but I heard that it's the most "politically correct" branch, and that you're subjected to the most amount of "sensitivity training."
Not yet huh...not yet anyway. i know how ya'll do. don't expect that gratitude for your service in 2016.![]()

Aimless, directionless people often find themselves in military service. This is something that happens world wide.So going to college was......pointless.
You will come in as an officer with that degree.I wasn't interested in it then, but yeah, joining the military right out of HS would have probably been a much better option than squandering 5 years of my life and thousands of dollars on college.
