This law was advocated for because CS is a broken system breh. Agreed, more measures are needed to make it increasingly fair.



Let"s discuss the men who arent walking talking stereotypes though. I know plenty of brothers who's kids are without basic needs so that the bm can get her hair did who didnt marry a stereotypical sister.

My entire point was that while this is a step to address that (and that's good). I saw potential issues with it as it pertains to some of the other expenses involved with child care that's all.

LMAO you do realize the custodial parent has bills, so no they aren't spending the whole $1700 on themselves. If you're a non custodial parent and your child is well taken care of, you shouldn't be caring if your $400 went all to your kid or not. It's a different ball game when your kid has shytty living conditions but some people take no extra part in parenting aside from paying every month and if that's the role you decide to take, then you have no right to dictate where the money goes.

So then it should't matter, especially if she claims she's spending more than she gets from Child Support. The issue becomes that the Court is defining what expenses are child related and the women don't like that.

  He told me that, all the money he pays his x for child support, she spends it on herself on not the kids. When the kids come over, they have the same clothes and they tell him that the mom does not buy them anything. What do i tell him? I have never been in this situation so i dont know

  In my state, if the person paying child support suspects the other is not using the funds properly, they can go through an attorney to request receipts for the expenses.
  
  However, all she would have to do is say that she's using the money to pay her rent.

Y'all need to get the hell over paying child support. If there weren't so many men out there unwilling to give enough to take care of their children then there would be no need for it but buying your son Jordan's or getting a daughter a new doll baby doesn't cut it anymore and you need to share in the expenses of raising your children. If you don't want to have the responsibility then don't have any damn children.

My father never complained once about paying my mother child support (in fact he put himself on it) and he still gave extra when it was needed with no damn complaints because he understands his responsibilities.

Most of y'all probably don't even have children yet complaining like this is really affecting you.


I would like to know the limits on this card because it may sound like a good idea to some but it may not actually help as much as people think.

How did you translate a sense of entitlement because I won't let the courts view my bank records. What I spend my hard earned money on is my business not the courts.

If a man puts himself on child support in an attempt to get access to what I spend money on then I don't want his money. Buy whatever you think is needed because with or without his money my child will be good.


Who is ya'll? I avoid the system. From trying to get over on the IRS to Sallie Mae loans to welfare and public housing.

incorrect. and i'm all for making dudes pay their fairshare.

let me explain to you what child support should amt to and no more than that.

depending on the kids age. lets say he/she is school age. meaning the parent only has to deal with the kid right before school and 6+ hours after school.

to do the math its simple. what would someone pay for a nanny from say 6am to 7am when you drop the lil dude off at school. and what would you pay a nanny to hold down lil bruh from 5pm(after the mama gets off work) til the next morning. Now cut that total in half since its half of both parent's responsibility. Then find out how much a kid should cost rent wise. all kids dont have a room of their own. some mamas are living in 1bedrooms. but lets assume its a 2 bedroom spot. then both parents half to split the rent for that bedroom. add that split to the other split.. So whatever that comes out too thats all that child support should amt to no matter how much money the dude makes. For broke dudes that cant pay their half out right. they pay towards it with a percentage of their income going straight to one of these cards and a rent voucher. that can only be used for supplementing rent.

Sorry gold digging/lazy ladies. we can't pay for you like that. we're paying for the kid and thats it.
