YesSo a team that has attained the best record ever in college basketball history with maybe 5 first rounders is supposed to lose to this long list of teams you guys have already listed. Interesting.

Fat Baxter won't keep up in today modern gameInside game > Guard play
Will you guys EVER understand that?
The game hasn't changed much since 2002 breh.Fat Baxter won't keep up in today modern game
2002 was like 20 years ago
Juan Dixon was a 6'3 165 SG and Steve Blake was 6'2 170 PG. You want to compare them to the Andrew Harrison 6'6 210 with a 6'8 wingspan and Aaron who is 6'6 212 with the same wingspan. Not to mention Booker who is also 6'6. You said Dixon was a grown man but compared to Kentucky, they look like boys.Juan and Stevie were grown men and would destroy that back court.
Maryland also had NBA size and length in the front court starting and on the bench.
If that fat nikka from Notre Dame could give Towns problems, which he did yesterday, then Lonny would too.
Kentucky had more talent, but Maryland had a lot of experience and could shoot. (that 2002 team had four NBA players too)
Thats not me saying that Maryland was an all time team either. Just that this Kentucky team isnt that great.
crehs are mad at this truth![]()
The one and done rules changed the game. Just imagine if Duke had Lebron for one season. Cuse had Melo and that was enough to win a National Championship. How many great college players transition from that era. A shyt load of busts from that draft in college alone. Maryland had one of worst track records at that. The game hasn't changed much since 2002 breh.
So easy to do considering they have elite bigs who cover space like no other team college Basketball since Lew Alcindor's UCLA teams. If you can hit a midrange, you can easily beat this UK team. Don't forget that '97 Kansas team. 95 UCLA, '98 UNC. '97 Wildcats (Zona)

Your telling me undersized Ed O'Bannon, Raef LeFrentz, Scot Pollard, dikkerson and Mike Bibby is going to crush get mad midrange jumpers on the size, length, defensive quickness and speed of Kentucky?![]()
Those teams I listed are better teams than this current Kentucky team.

So we really using ACC beast teams as a reason why Maryland would lose?yeah they'd be completely lost against their guards - somehow that same year a mediocre Arizona and Oklahoma team weren't lost though. We can also add Duke (by 21 points) and NC State to the teams that had no answers.

and yet them Notre Dame crehs were getting to the basket at will last night.Juan Dixon was a 6'3 165 SG and Steve Blake was 6'2 170 PG. You want to compare them to the Andrew Harrison 6'6 210 with a 6'8 wingspan and Aaron who is 6'6 212 with the same wingspan. Not to mention Booker who is also 6'6. Towns wouldn't even be in college in 2002, he would have went HS to NBA. Just him alone is much better than anyone Maryland was putting out.
Baxter was 6'6 without shoes and 6'8 with shoes with a 7'1.5 wingspan. Wilcox was 6'9.5 218 with a 7'1 wingspan.
Towns is 6'11 250 with a 7'3.25 wingspan and he's a PF.
Johnson is 7.25 263 with the same wingspan and Lee is 6'9 with a 7'3 wingspan.
WCS is 7.25 244 with a 7'2 wingspan.
Is this really a comparison? What about numbers?
I was going to say more but I saw this and realized you dont know what you talking about. Not to mention, Jarian Grant is better than anyone on that Maryland squad.

So we really using ACC beast teams as a reason why Maryland would lose?
And we using on a neutral court Arizona (top 10 team that season) and a game at Oklahoma (top 10 team that season) as examples that Maryland woudlnt beat this team? LOL at those teams being mediocre.
Its pretty much forum consensus that Kentucky loses 2 or 3 games in any other conference this season, and now nikkas wanna act like Kentucky are an impenetrable force.
and yet them Notre Dame crehs were getting to the basket at will last night.
On top of that, Tahj Holden and Ryan Randle off the bench. WE had NBA size and length (which is all I said)
And I dont give a fukk about the Harrison twins being tall, them dudes are ass and would get slaughtered by Dixon and Blake. Juan and Steve were grown ass men who were battle hardened and tested.
I was going to say more but I saw this and realized you dont know what you talking about.![]()
they lost by 16 points and 21 points. Fukk outta here. Yeah they would've lost more games in another conference - they already beat L'ville, UNC, and the ACC's best team in ND.
yeah, to TWO TOP TEN TEAMS ON THOSE TEAMS HOMECOURTS!they lost by 16 points and 21 points. Fukk outta here.
fam, if you not a college bball fan forreal you dont have to be in this thread.Yeah they would've lost more games in another conference - they already beat L'ville, UNC, and the ACC's best team in ND.
The Coli - where 31-4 > 38-0![]()

Arkansas is a good team. UGA was a decent team as well Florida. Down year for the conference and no one can deny that but let's act like UNLV played a stronger schedule? Didn't think so and they played a solid non-conference schedule.Kentucky had a couple months where they didn't play a solid team. They very well could be the best team in a long time but you wouldn't know it by the schedule they played. The SEC was terrible. Florida had nothing. LSU was meh. Arkansas was "ok". Everyone else sucked. If Kentucky plays in the ACC they very well could have lost a game or two. It is what it is.
