I remember last year before all star break thinking “why is Demar not in the MVP conversation”

Dudes team was #1 and he was putting up great numbers. I could only surmise that it’s cause he played in Toronto people were ignoring him.:yeshrug:

He doesn’t help his case when he’s trash in the post season.

But dude doesn’t get credit for how good he is overall.

He was in the top 5 for MVP conversation most of the season,he was voted in to start the ASG last year he clearly gets recognized just not by casuals on the coli.com....

He was putting up 23/5/5 not MVP numbers but best player on 2nd best record numbers...

he's no slouch but we've seen this before. he got benched in the 4th quarter vs the cavs last year in the playoffs....the cavs who had jr smith, george hill, jeff green, kyle korver and jordan clarkson as their guards.

The fact you keep going to OT against all these bad teams should let you know something aint right...

I'm pretty sure the "something aint right" is that their all defensive point guard is out for the year...their backup point guard is out for another month...and their 1st round draft pick two guard who would be getting minutes since Dejounte got hurt...is also out another month:mjlol:

I'm pretty sure another part of the "something aint right" is that every night they start an undrafted undersized third strong two guard at point guard due to all the injuries...:mjlol:

I wonder what other teams record would look like if they lost their starting point guard...backup point guard, and 1st round draft pick who would be playing since they lost their starting and backup point guard

Closes teams to those types of injuries are the rockets...and they sitting at 1 - 4 :mjlol:

Not really much difference offensively in what he does for us that Kawhi did...besides having the outside shooting that Kawhi had. Don't get it twisted, he ain't the player Kawhi is, but he's as good as we could of gotten back in a trade for Kawhi

As usual...let's just wait until the post season to see how he pans out

demar is one of the league's premier scorer, and he does that by not shooting 3s is even more impressive. I'd honestly say no one takes as much hard shots as demar

he just turns to clayton kershaw in the playoffs

Right and it def NOT going to be easier this post season (assuming we make it there) with the amount of strong wing players who he could potentially face.
